Story
Vincent - Our Diamond Dog Ready to Shine in His Forever Home Say hello to Vincent, an approximately 1-year-old Catahoula mix weighing 56 lbs who has officially earned his Diamond Dog status. That means he has been a shelter resident for 90 days or longer - and his adoption fee is now just $75. Vincent has the looks that turn heads and a personality that fills the room. Found near Corporate Crossing in Rockwall on 11/22/25, he was microchipped, but sadly his owner was never located. Since then, he's been patiently waiting for his second chance. Still very much a puppy at heart, Vincent is full of energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm for life. He's smart, playful, and thrives on interaction and activity. With continued training, structure, and positive outlets for his energy, Vincent is going to grow into an incredibly loyal and devoted companion. Vincent is looking to be the only dog in the home so he can soak up all the attention and fully bond with his people. He would also do best in a home without cats. Think of him as a one-pet household superstar who wants all the love - and all the toys - to himself. He is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on his rabies, DAPPV, and Bordetella vaccinations. After 90+ days of waiting, Vincent is more than ready for his forever family. Vincent as of 02/20/26 is now a Diamond Dog. If you're looking for a fun, energetic, one-and-only companion who will keep life exciting and your heart full, Vincent may be your perfect match. Diamond Dog Adoption Fee: $75 Apply to adopt Vincent here: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ Let's help this Diamond Dog finally find the home he deserves.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. Story
Gidget not only has spots she also has freckles! Mix that in with beautiful coloring and alluring chocolate colored eyes and you have one beautiful girl! Besides that she’s got an easy-going, laid-back, winsome personality. Gidget is an 11 month old 40lb Catahoula Leopard dog that arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 6/13 as a stray. When I first took her to the yard she explored and did her business. She’s so smart that she immediately found a soft bed and sat herself down on it. But after a few minutes, she got curious and wanted to explore. She stayed close and kept looking up at me with her captivating eyes. She backed up when I asked her to sit trying to please. She took the treat I offered gently. She’s calm, gentle, sweet, affectionate, attentive, and well mannered. She did have a strong pull on the leash. She should do well with children because she’s so well behaved and loving. If she could have one wish granted it would be that her new family would include her in family outings and let her hang out with them in the house.

Story
Meet Knox, a stunning 3-year-old Catahoula/Pit mix with soulful blue eyes and a literal heart on his sleeve (well, his back!).Knox was recently returned to our rescue through no fault of his own, and we are urgently looking for a new forever home or a temporary foster family to take him in. This boy is the definition of a "good dog" and just needs one specific thing: a cat-free environment.  * Family Favorite: He has lived with young children and is incredibly gentle, patient, and sweet with them. * Social Butterfly: He loves meeting new people and is very dog-friendly! He’d love a dog sibling to play with. * The Best Roommate: Knox is both crate trained and house trained. * Playful & Affectionate: He is a big fan of toys and will never turn down a good snuggle session. * Unique Beauty: Between his striking blue eyes and the perfect brown heart-shaped spot on his back, he is truly one of a kind. * No Cats: Knox has a high prey drive regarding felines, so he must go to a home only with other dogs. * Location: Currently in Dallas, TX, but out-of-state transport is available for the perfect match! Hannah’s Southern Paws Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit. Please share this post to help Knox find the heart-shaped home he deserves!  ##1677591##

Story
Meet Cooper 🐾 Cooper joined our family in October 2024 after being born on September 1, 2024, as part of an unexpected litter. We brought him home as a playful, happy puppy, and he quickly became part of our family. He has grown up alongside our other dog and is house and kennel trained. Shortly after bringing Cooper home, we became pregnant. As our family grew and time became more limited, we realized Cooper has higher needs than we can currently meet. Cooper is a young, energetic dog who thrives on attention, activity, and engagement. He knows basic commands and enjoys being active but needs more daily interaction and structure. Lately, he has been whining for attention and has had occasional kennel accidents, which we believe are due to his age and energy level. He would do best in an active home that can provide daily exercise, continued training, and consistent attention. He is social with other dogs, very active, and familiar with a home routine.
