Per Wisdom Panel Lucy is a 3 year old American Staffordshire Terrier/Catahoula Leopard Dog/Lab mix. Due to her breeds, no apartments please! If you are thinking about adopting a dog, please consider adopting Lucy! We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##950302##

Story
Introducing Princess, a stunning Catahoula mix who's approximately four years old and weighs 53 pounds. Rescued from the Dallas animal shelter with her newborns, all her puppies have found their forever homes, and now it's Princess's turn. In the past year, she's mastered walking on a leash and discovered the joy of solo play, tossing toys in the air with delightful flair. Fully vetted and with a reduced adoption fee of $50, Princess is ready for her forever home. Currently in a boarding situation due to her foster mom's health decline, she's eagerly awaiting a loving family to share her affectionate spirit. If you are interested in meeting Princess, please go to our website and complete an application for adoption. www.chloespetrescue.org/application.

Story
Sadie was surrendered to a high kill shelter when her family moved into an apartment.  They did not want the responsibility of walking a dog everyday.  We are all heartbroken for this sweet girl who did absolutely nothing wrong. Sadie is a very well behaved pup. She gets along with dogs of all sizes and adores children. She is great on a leash and in the car. Sadie loves to swim and play fetch. We consider her to be a pretty laid back girl who does not require a ton of activity but she can and will be active when you want her to. Sadie is 3 years old, she weighs about 50 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. ##1560621##
