Story
Meet Lil Miss This sweet girl has had a rough go. She was found by her owner on the road as hit by a car, scared, sad and lonely. She took her to the vet and with their help and her love, she nursed her back to health, and lil miss was finally happy. Sadly, her owner recently passed away, leaving lil miss, once again, sad and lonely. She is being cared after by a sweet friend of her owners in hopes to find her a home that will love her an adore her like she had been. She is kid friendly and dog friendly with a kind and loving disposition. She is a bit apprehensive when it comes to medical care and is somewhat nervous in that situation, but you can't blame her after all the hard things this loving girl has been through. If you have the heart to give, she would be willing to take it. All she needs is a loving home to see her through. Her adoption fee includes her being fully vetted, microchipped and she is available to you via ground transport.

Story
Meet Marbles! She’s a 11 week old female Catahoula leopard dog mix. She is a big girl that loves attention and sleep! She is quickly learning the crate and is doing well with her potty training! Marbles likes to play with the older dogs, but does appreciate attention from humans to get that affection! She will fit in great with any family, but her foster mom thinks she would be great first puppy for kids as she learns very fast and is pretty calm! Mom is a Catahoula mix and about 55 pounds. Dad is unknown, but they probably have some terrier in them.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.September 16, 2024, 9:17 pm

Story
Meet Clint Barton! Introducing Clint Barton, a remarkable dog with a heart full of love and loyalty! Clint is crate trained and potty trained, making him an easy addition to your home. Clint is deaf, but that doesn't stop him from being a wonderful companion. He's learned to navigate the world in his own special way and is ready to share his unique perspective with a loving family. His resilience and adaptability are truly inspiring, and he responds well to visual cues and hand signals. Deaf dogs require some differences in their training, but in all, it's not that hard to have a deaf dog. He is learning basic obedience and can walk well on a leash- and he can learn so much more, especially hand commands. We've also been using a vibration collar to get his attention from far away, so he can run and play, but still come to you when needed. Clint is a bit shy with new people, sometimes so much so, his lanky legs shake until he gets to know you. Walks and treats are a the best way to make friends quickly. He just wants to know what you expect of him, so clear cues and communication are critical to making him feel comfortable and to increase his confidence. In all, Clint is a wonderful, young dog who has so much to give. He just needs someone to give him a chance! Clint is available for foster-to-adopt as well, so you can see how well he can fit into your world before you commit to adopt. This is a great way to overcome the initial fears and concerns about working with a deaf dog. As we do for all of our dogs, we are available for support and ongoing training to help get you start and stay on the right path to happiness! Clint Barton is UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and spayed/neutered. ADOPTION DONATION: $600.00. Your adoption donation goes toward the cost of this vet care as well as transportation and general care costs. All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and Martingale collar. Each dog also receives a "Tour Gear Bag" full of brochures, coupons, and supplies for your new pup! Please visit our website www.motleyzoorescue.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

"Get your motor runnin'! Head out on the highway! Looking for adventure and whatever comes our way!!!" That is one pawsome song right? My name is Wanda! I am 2 year old Catahoula mix :) looking for an ACTIVE family! They say I'm a very smart cookie, that sounds amazing!!! Who doesn't like cookies?! I know sit, fetch and learning to drop it. I have doggie friends and I've met the kitties and they are ok too! I am still a little nervous with new people and sometimes like to bork at them so they know I'm there. Foster mom is teaching me so many cool things all the time. I am crate trained and I LOOOVE belly rubs! I would do great with an active family that likes to go on hikes, adventures and give me lots of chewy toys and stimulate my growing mind! If you like to have a good time like me, have your people get with my people and let's get this pawty started!!! Local (Texas) adoption fee is $200 Out of state (Transport) adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)
