Biscuit was surrendered to animal control after his owner was incarcerated. He is a small dog and on the alpha side. He does ok with other dogs that are female or submissive netuered males. He has alot of energy and loves to tell you if something is bothering him haha. He does have an old injury as he was hit by a car last year and his prior owner took him to the vet but refused to have his leg set/surgery done. It does not affect his ability to be himself nor does it cause him any pain, however he may get arthritis when he is older because of the injury. We feel he would do best in a home with older kiddos over 10 years and adults. He is unsure about cats but does tolerate them well. ##2428829##

Jake lost his human to the nursing home and would love a quiet home. He gets along well with other dogs and likes people. He is ball crazy and will beg you to play with him for hours fetching a ball. Jake is just 3 years old and housetrained. Loves to sleep in bed with his people too. He loves to talk via "growling grumbles" but it isn't in a mean way. Just him telling you about his day. He did lose an eye recently, when another dog in his foster home snipped at him and injured it. He has adjusted just fine and is right back to his usual self now. ##2759547##

Phoebe is a definite Rat Terrier mix around 3-4 years of age. She was found running at large with little Rachel in Taney Co. Missouri. She is a little shy at first, but a super sweet girl. She does climb out of the pup pen that is 4ft tall so a secure yard for her to play in with a privacy fence would be great! She is a little alpha acting with other dogs, but does like their company. Active girl and super pretty too! She would make a great trail/walking partner and prefers women over men, but does warm up. ##1734559##

He's considered 'Special Needs' due to his Level 4 Heart Murmur, however, he's not on medication yet. He's housebroken and seems to ride well in a car curled up in a bed in the passenger seat. Not leash trained so he requires a Secure Fence Yard. Beans is a "climber" using rocks/boards to jump up on. He's a Good Escape Artist and Door Darter whenever door is open. He may enjoy a companion dog in the home to help him continue to thrive to be a great dog. At almost 9 yrs old, he's pretty much set in his ways. He also has a 'cloudy eye' but still sees okay. Beans came from a very bad situation that included bitten by tons of fleas and ticks losing all his hair and he would love to find a family to give him a better life. Mellie May is about 2 years old; potty trained with a short white coat. She gets along great with cats but should probably be the only dog in the household. She loves to play fetch and tug of war with her stuffy and go on walks although she is also content to lay on the couch. She's a very easy dog. She would make a great dog for a senior. The last home said she was not good with small children but I don't know as I don't have any. She's small to medium size.
