He is 35lbs and 4 years old - Doesn't get along with the other dog in the photo. We have two small kids so we want them to feel safe. Yogi has been trained and we will send him with the rest of his food, large crate if needed and his training collar. He is the sweetest dog to children, he just fights for alpha and we are saddened to not be able to keep him. He will be great in a home with kids but only him as he fights for attention and to be alpha. We would like to make sure he is given to a great home. Wont give him just anywhere... Thanks

Meet Chloe, who comes to us from Union County Animal Services where she was dropped off with her bonded pack Memory and Buddy after their owner passed away. Chloe is a 7 lb. 8-year-old Chihuahua and gives the best kisses! We would like for them to go together, and we will work out a package deal if someone would be willing to take all three to keep them together. They are all fixed, up to date on shots and microchipped. All are dogs are very sweet and cat friendly. Memory is a 7 lb., 13-year-old Chihuahua. She is a very outgoing and spry girl and so loving. Buddy is a 21 lb., 8-year-old, Chi mix who is super sweet and a little on the heavy side

Mrs. Fluff is a delicate little one-year-old, Deerhead mix Chihuahua weighing just 8 pounds, and who is searching for a calm, nurturing home where patience and love come first. While she is undeniably beautiful on the outside, her heart is still healing from a difficult beginning. Mrs. Fluff came from a home that just could not take care of her. After one month in foster care, she has made truly remarkable progress and continues to blossom every day. In her foster home, Princess Fluff has learned that laps are safe, cuddles are wonderful, and gentle voices bring comfort. She seeks affection and enjoys being close to her people once she feels secure. Inside the home she is relaxed, playful in her own quiet way, and her sweet personality is beginning to shine through. She is still building confidence outdoors and leash walks in a fenced yard will prove to be a big confidence booster for her. Mrs. Fluff would thrive in a home where her people can continue this positive exposure at her pace. Car rides and neighborhood strolls are goals we know she will enjoy as she gains confidence. Mrs. Fluff would do best in a peaceful home with plenty of time and attention devoted to her. She may do well with one other calm, confident dog, but she truly wants to be someone’s special girl. Children in the home should be over the age of 10 and able to respect her gentle nature. She is crate trained and making steady progress with house training. GiGi – Small in Size, Big on Love GiGi is a precious little Chiweenie girl who is about 3 years old and weighs just around 6.4 pounds. Like her sister Mimi, GiGi’s life changed suddenly when the only home she had ever known fell apart. Through no fault of her own, she and Mimi were surrendered when their owner realized she could no longer provide the stability they deserved. The girls were turned into a small-town shelter, and thankfully Critter Cavalry Rescue stepped in and brought them to safety. GiGi is still adjusting to all the changes, but even in the midst of uncertainty, her gentle and affectionate personality is easy to see. GiGi is a friendly, sweet-natured little girl who enjoys being close to her people. She has a slightly more curious side than Mimi and seems eager to understand her new surroundings. She does well with other dogs and has lived peacefully with cats, making her an easy fit for many different home environments. We believe GiGi is either already housebroken or would quickly adapt with a consistent routine or pee pad. She is crate trained, though like many small dogs, she would likely be just as content relaxing on a comfy dog bed in a safe, quiet space when her family is away. GiGi has a soft, loving heart and is simply looking for another chance to belong. She doesn’t ask for much — just patience, kindness, and a family who will love her for the rest of her life. In return, she promises loyalty, affection, and the kind of companionship that makes every day better.
