I'm an old, sleepy guy who likes soft blankets, dog beds and laps. I don't do much, other than sleep and snuggle, but I do occasionally chase the cats. (The cats have no trouble outrunning me because, well, I'm old). I came from a hoarding situation and didn't get great care. I have bad teeth (which will be taken care of) and some hip problems/joint pain. I often won't eat unless my person sits with me. My foster mommy says I need just the right place for my golden years where someone has time to spoil me. Maybe someone who works from home or someone retired? To go with her all-white coat, striking blue eyes, and extra-long legs, she has a comically small head and hardly any neck to speak of. Let’s just say she is a sight to behold! But it's not just her looks that make her special. Sissy is a quirky little lady with a cat-like demeanor. She can hang out on the couch quietly and then suddenly sprint across the room for no apparent reason. And with her amusing "dance routine" with her kibble—playfully rolling over a few pieces and then pouncing as if they might escape—her antics are sure to keep you entertained and laughing.Sissy has had an uncertain past and is looking for her forever home. She is deaf and startles easily, so a relatively calm and predictable home environment would be ideal. She also has trouble seeing in dim light and has a slight fear of the dark, so she appreciates having a yard light turned on for her nighttime outings.Sissy is dog-selective and will do best as an only pet in a home with either no or older children. Sissy is happiest when she's sitting by her person’s side or exploring the outside on daily walks or in a fenced backyard, but she also enjoys her quiet time, being her quirky little self.Sissy is looking for an adopter who appreciates her unique personality and can provide the loving, stable home she deserves. If you're looking for an unusual but loyal friend who will keep you smiling, Sissy might just be the dog for you.If you are interested in adopting this dog, please review our adoption policies and apply online at [www.speakfortheunspoken.com/adopt](http://www.speakfortheunspoken.com/adopt).Visit [www.speakfortheunspoken.com](http://www.speakfortheunspoken.com/) will give you more information about our rescue. ***PLEASE READ*** WE DO NOT RESPOND TO PETFINDER OR EMAIL INQUIRIES. Crow is an 8-year-old Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua mix (born August 6, 2017), neutered, affectionate, and loves to cuddle. He weighs about 15 pounds and bonds deeply with his people. We adopted Crow from Every Pet Needs A Home rescue in September 2020 and are rehoming him due to our son's severe dog allergies.Crow was abused by dogs before his rescue and cannot live with other dogs under any circumstances. His tail is bent twice from those injuries. He needs a calm, quiet home where he is the only pet and gets the attention and snuggles he thrives on.He eats The Farmer's Dog (turkey, beef, pork) twice daily with pumpkin. Chicken is avoided.Columbus, Ohio area only. Adults-only home, no children, no other pets. Experienced pet owners only. Microchipped. Vet records available.

Story
Are you the type of person that likes to give sweet older pups a chance they might otherwise not get? Sweetie loves attention and will happily help you out by guarding the door of the bathroom from the inside. However, she can also be quite the independent little lady and doesn’t need to be a velcro dog… unless you want her to be! Sweetie can be a little bossy with her dog friends (part of why we think she’s mixed with chihuahua!) but generally gets along well with everyone. Sweetie is a beauty but would benefit from a little tough love when it comes to feeding and giving out treats and a little more activity in her day. A physically fenced yard is required. Sweetie is available for adoption in Ohio to residents of Ohio. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Welcome Junior to DASH! Junior came to DASH from a rural shelter in southern Ohio where he and several other dogs were taken from a horrible housing situation. Junior is currently in our DASH Prison Program where he is learning what love and comfort are. He is working on his basic commands and is said to be crate trained, housebroken and walks well on a leash. He is a sweet and loveable guy despite all that he has been through in his short life. He is energetic when out playing in the yard, but then is ready to relax and chill inside. He gets along with other dogs, but has not been kid or cat tested. He would love a family or person he can call his forever home! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 19, 2026, 3:26 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Introducing Snowy! Snowy came to DASH with two other small dogs from a not so great situation. Since coming into the rescue and being at her current foster, she has gained a lot of confidence and has really come out of her shell. She is still a little shy on meeting new people, but will warm up after a short while. She is crate trained, mostly potty trained and is still working on her leash manners, so she would do best with a fenced in yard where she can feel comfortable going outside on her terms to potty and explore. This beautiful girl is great with other dogs her size and the cats in her foster home. She has not been kid tested and due to her shyness, children under the age of 10 are not recommended. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Welcome Ellie Christmas to DASH! This lovely little girl came to DASH with her friend Mini Claus when they were abandoned in a burnt down drug house. Luckily some kind neighbors were feeding them, but it was no place for small girls to be. So they made their way to us where they will never know that kind of life again. Ellie is a very sweet, loving girl, who is pretty laid back. She enjoys napping in a big comfy dog bed, and watching all the other doggie antics in her current foster home. She is still a little shy upon meeting new people, but warms up quickly once she knows you are there to love her. She is working on her potty training, crate training and walking on a leash, so her new family will need to continue helping her on that journey. She loves other dogs, is fine around cats, but has not been kid tested. She would be great for a senior or family alike and is ready to find her forever home.
