Sweetie can be a little bossy with her dog friends (part of why we think she’s mixed with chihuahua!) but generally gets along well with everyone. Sweetie is a beauty but would benefit from a little tough love when it comes to feeding and giving out treats and a little more activity in her day. A physically fenced yard is required. This lovely little girl came to DASH with her friend Mini Claus when they were abandoned in a burnt down drug house. Luckily some kind neighbors were feeding them, but it was no place for small girls to be. So they made their way to us where they will never know that kind of life again. Ellie is a very sweet, loving girl, who is pretty laid back. She enjoys napping in a big comfy dog bed, and watching all the other doggie antics in her current foster home. She is still a little shy upon meeting new people, but warms up quickly once she knows you are there to love her. She is working on her potty training, crate training and walking on a leash, so her new family will need to continue helping her on that journey. She loves other dogs, is fine around cats, but has not been kid tested. She would be great for a senior or family alike and is ready to find her forever home. This sweet boy came to DASH with several other small dogs who had been living outside. No place for a small dog like Shaggy. He is currently in our DASH Prison Training Program where his handler has said he loves all people and has never met a stranger, he loves all the other female dogs, but is a little selective with male dogs. He is crate trained, potty trained in the prison setting, and walks well on a leash. He is very sociable and likes a good snuggle session. He is a little bit of a picky eater and likes to have his dry kibble softened with a bit of water before he'll eat it! This boy would be great for a senior looking for a moderately active boy or a family who wants to have a young dog who has already gone through the puppy phase and is ready to be a great family addition for years to come. This bonded pair of sisters came to DASH from southern Ohio when their elderly owner had to go into nursing care and could not take them with them. They are truly the sweetest, most loving dogs ever! They just want to be with you and give you kisses all the time. Jasmine is the more outgoing of the 2, but Lady Gray is never far away and once she sees Jasmine getting the attention, she will move her way right in so she isn't left out! They are crate trained, pee pad trained (working on going outside to potty on a schedule) and working on their leash manners in their current foster home. They do get along with the other small dogs in their foster home, but truly would be perfectly content to be someone's only 2 since they get along with each other perfectly. They have not been kid or cat tested. If you are ready for double the loving, then these 2 are ready for you too!
