Story
The kind woman who rescued me from the streets of Houston named me Lil Tyke. My foster mom thinks Houdini would be more appropriate. You see, I got out of her backyard when none of her other foster dogs had ever done so. But luckily through the kindness of neighbors, she found me quickly and closed up every and all possible exit points. She also had me neutered in hopes that would reduce my desire to roam. I have not tried again but my foster mom is very careful. The vet says I'm a year and a half old, 9 pound Chihuahua mix. I have been vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed so I am ready for my forever home. If you're looking for a walking companion, I would love to join you either on my own or with another dog. I am house trained and get along with dogs of all sizes. All the other dogs in my foster home, a total of six, are bigger and older than I am. Luckily, Jack the Ripper and Brandy Beth who are seven, are great playmates and walking partners. I share my foster mom's bed sleeping under the covers without disturbing her. I have an inside voice and an outside voice. I do like to bark with the other dogs when somebody walks by our fence but when I'm inside I am quiet except for the occasional yip if my foster mom is a little slow in making breakfast or dinner for the seven of us. In closing, I am a wandering man looking for his forever home.My foster mom will be very particular, no children who could leave the door open, and a very secure backyard. If this describes you, please go to www.camorescue.com to complete an application. Adoption fee is $350 Apply at www.camorescue.com

Story
Meet Kendrick 'Ken', He is a almost 5 month old chihuahua that was going to be surrendered to the shelter with her other 2 siblings. He is about 5-1/2-6 lbs now and still growing. He is a precious little boy that loves to play with her brother and sister. Due to his size he will need in a home with no young children or a doggy door as he will not get very big. He would love a playmate but would need to be a small dog so he doesn't get hurt. He is adoptable with a spay/neuter contract so he would need to be able to get to one of our vets in the Houston or Dallas area. Adoption fee is: $500 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022

Story
Meet super cute bonded mom and son Bitsy and Bobo. Bitsy (aka Momma) is a white 5-6 year-old, 12 lb. Chorkie (Chihuahua/terrier). Bobo is a brown approx a 4 year-old, 6 lb Chorkie (Chihuahua/terrier). This mother/son duo love each other so much! They sit on the couch together, sleep together, and are always together. They love to play in the backyard. While they tend to keep to themselves, Bitsy does love to play with another foster dog; Bobo is still learning how to play and can be overprotective of his bed with dogs other than his momma. Potty skills are progressing. Both are still learning how to trust humans; they will take a treat from your hand once they trust you. Bitsy does seem to prefer women. Both dogs are fully vetted, including dental and spay and need to be adopted together. Bobo's adoption fee is $200 and Bitsy's adoption fee is $200. BOBO AND BITSY ARE A BONDED PAIR AND MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER. ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.
