Story
The candy litter are sweet little things around 14 weeks old and all under 10 pounds! Momma was a chihauhua mix and dad is said to be a chihuahua as well. They came from a hoarding situation and were covered in fleas. They were missing a lot of fur from damage fleas had done to them and they were starving. They have grown back their hair and are ready to find their FurEvers in Wisconsin! Currently being fostered in Milwaukee. You can fill out an application on our website: BeMyFurEvers.com/adopt ##2079256##

Story
FRODO, FREDDIE, FINLEY and FERGIE. Don’t let these small sizes fool you. These guys and gal are packed with personality. Huge!! A little full of themselves. Known for being feisty and full of energy, these cuties are always up for the task. They are fearless and love to make their presence known. Despite their spunky behavior they also love their downtime cuddling with their favorite human. One of their favorite past times is perched in your arms taking in the big ole world from the safety of their humans embrace. They never meet a stranger and are adored by everyone they meet. Once adopted they will travel via Rescue Vet Transport to their new family. They travel each and every weekend from Memphis, Tennessee to the north east, delivering pups along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. If you would like to make either one of these cuties part of your family please follow the link below to our adoption application. Our turnaround time is typically less than 24 hours so please be prepared before you submit your application. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

Story
Meet Toby! Hi all, I’m Toby! Foster mom says I’m a “cute little squeak.” I’m not sure what she means, since I hardly make a peep except when I’m being a guard dog (like us little chihuahuas have to be). I'm a senior guy, weighing just 8 pounds, but I could stand to lose one pound to be a healthy weight I was surrendered to a shelter when my owner could no longer keep me and boy was it scary! It's hard to be a little guy in a big world sometimes. But Albert’s took me in, and I’m getting comfy in my foster home day by day. I love getting pets. I was surrendered with my sister Molly, and we’ve always lived together, but we aren’t bonded. In my foster home, I live with lots of other dogs, and I get along with them, but sometimes I have to tell them who is boss (me, obviously). I also get along with respectful kiddos, but I won't seek their attention. I just kind of like hanging out. I love lounging in a soft dog bed or even in my crate (it's my quiet place). I don’t mind being crated at all, in fact, but I’m house trained and don’t destroy anything, so I don’t need to be crated. I do well on a leash and really enjoy going for walks, but my stride is much shorter than yours! I recently had a dental cleaning, and I had a lot of my teeth removed (I guess that is what you get when you don’t brush!). Foster mom says it’ll give me “fresh breath.” I’m also being treated for anaplasma and lymes disease (both caused by tick bites). I don’t have any symptoms, and I probably never will, but Albert’s just wants to make sure I get extra good care. I'm hoping that will be with you! *Toby is being fostered in Madison, WI. Story
Meet Karley! I'm a quiet little, 7lb adult chihuhua mix who loves to cuddle and play! I am dog friendly with other mellow pups (have not been cat tested) but prefer a mellow home that is kid free. My most favorite thing to do is nap and then work on my chew toy when I wake up. I walk well on a leash for short walks but would enjoy having a fenced in yard. I have been doing really well going potty outside when on a consistent schedule. I'm a little gal looking for the perfect home where I can feel safe and blossom. Since I’m so tiny and sweet, I can find new things and loud noises a bit scary but I just need time to feel comfortable and more confident. I definitely prefer females and need a lot of time to warm up to men, so would need any men in the home to be patient with me. Once I’m comfortable I can show you just how playful and sweet I can be. I know my ideal home is out there and looking for me too. Is that home yours?? *Karley is being fostered in Milwaukee, WI. Story
Meet Peanut! Hello, my name is Peanut, and I'm looking for someone who will consider me their little peanut! I'm a senior guy now, and I'm about 17 pounds, but with a healthy balance of snack-o's and excersize, I could lose a couple more pounds. Did someone say snacks? I love me a good snack! Actually, maybe a little too much, so make sure the kiddos in the household give me treats with an open hand so I don't mistake their little fingers as part of the treat. I love humans, and since my personality is everything great in the world, I could easily live with small humans. I also enjoy the company of another dog, no matter the size, though I've never been around a cat, so I don't know how I'd do with them. I have perfect house manners. I go outside to potty, and I don't need to be crated while you're away because I'm not destructive at all. I'd also love to go with you on adventures, so I hope you'll take me with you from time to time. I love meeting new humans and other dog friends, so I could go to the store with you to pick out my own treats if you'd like! I know there are so many choices, so I wouldn't want to burden you with that task! I do well walking on a leash, but if you have a fenced yard, that's cool too. I'll make sure to sniff all the sniffs in the yard and get lots of exceraize out there. I don't really enjoy my little feets getting wet, though, so you might have to do some convincing to get me out if it's raining. When you come home from work I promise to always be happy to see you and give you my signature smile! I love to smile for my humans, and foster mom calls me a little ham, whatever that means. In the evening, when it's time to wind down, I'll lay next to you or the kids on the couch for some belly rubs. When it's time to go to bed, I'd love to sleep in the big bed with my human or in a big fluffy dog bed with lots of blankets to make just right before I snooze the night away. I'm pretty much everything you've ever dreamed of, and now it's time for us to make new dreams together! Are you ready to bring me home with you? *Peanut is being fostered in Madison, WI.
