In this case, the babies are mixed breed. Surrendering owner said the pup is a dachshund chihuahua but we believe some pug may be in there due to the curly tail. Rusty is an 8 year old cuddle bug who needs a loving family. He is a very affectionate dog who loves physical contact and licking your face. When he is comfortable he is a very silly guy who can also be a little awkward. I’ve had Rusty since he was a puppy we originally adopted him from a pound. I’ve been taking care of him solo since his original owner has passed away but he has a very big heart and is quick to place trust in other humans. He has been house trained and crate trained since he was young but because of mild separation anxiety he has had accidents in his cage while we’re away from the house. He enjoys sniffing around outside and getting to know a place, he has never torn anything apart but he does love to try and sneak any food he can reach. He’s grown up with two brothers (a pit bull and german shepherd) and one sister (a cat) so he really enjoys the company of other animals. His relationship with cats depends on the cats temperament as he can become scared easily

Janet Litter–Penny, an adorable 8 week old Chiweenie and Border Terrier Mix with a resilient spirit and a playful heart. Penny came from South Gate after being thrown out by her owners and spent three months running loose in front of their house before being rescued. Now safe and thriving, she loves squeaky toys, playtime, and snuggles. Penny is great with kids, dogs, and even cats, and she’s ready to find a forever home where she’ll be loved and cherished. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend as it changes from week to week. Pixie is a friendly and affectionate little girl who loves to cuddle up in a warm dog bed and relax after a fun day. She’s great with other dogs and would be an ideal companion for a dog-friendly home. If you're looking for a small, loving friend to add to your family, Pixie might just be the perfect match!
