Honey is a 2 year old, 8 lb Chihuahua mix. She has a beautiful honey-colored coat and white chest and paws. Of course, she has the typical Chihuahua "squint-eye", which is so cute and will make you smile. Honey is a little timid at first but warms up quickly. She loves to go outside and run and investigate, but due to her small size, she should not go outside alone. She loves mealtime and snacks, and she may try to sneak a bite of the other dogs' food. No aggression at all, but probably best to feed her in her crate or another room. Honey is making great progress on her potty training and has already learned to go to the door when she needs to go outside. She gets along just fine with other dogs, but she could also be an only, as long as she gets lots of attention from her people. Dory is a 6 year old, 14 lb Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. She is over-the-top cute with her unique markings, ears that look like she could take off flying at any moment, and her short little legs. Foster mom says she is a sweet girl who just wants to be loved on and get belly rubs. Dory is very well behaved in the house and wants to be with her people as much as possible. Dory lost her back leg due to an accident a few years ago, but that doesn't affect her one little bit. She still loves to go on walks, and currently walks at least a mile a day with foster mom. She can still find a way to get up on the couch to snuggle next to her person. She rides well in the car and likes to ride along with foster mom when she runs errands. Dory loves her furry igloo bed, and is the ultimate cuddle bug. Dory can get a little nervous if there is a lot going on around her, so she needs a quiet, low activity home. She doesn't live with other dogs now, but we think she would be fine with another calm dog. Kevin is a 4 month old, 8 lb Pomeranian mix. Kevin is a very special little pup who needs a very special home. Kevin is the sweetest, softest, and most gentle puppy his experienced Fosters have ever seen. He loves to be held and petted, which is a good thing considering how irresistible he is. This a a joyful puppy; his personality is as cuddly as his fur. Kevin is likely the product of a poor breeding practice that resulted in him being completely blind in one underdeveloped eye and diminished sight in the other. As far as we can tell, he is completely deaf. Nevertheless, he is very responsive to a hand signal for "come" as long as it's close enough for him to see. He seems to be a smart boy and needs adopters who are willing to figure out how to help him make the most of his limitations, although he doesn't seem to notice them himself. Kevin usually waits to do his business until he's taken outside, and if he has to go while inside, he finds a pee pad. He'll let you know when he needs to go. House training is going well. Soft toys are his favorites. He likes to play tug with the other foster pup, and plays chase and bite face with her too. He may be happiest with another gentle dog to play with and to help guide him. Libby is a 6 year old, 4 lb Pomeranian mix. Foster mom says this tiny lovebug is friendly, easy-going, and such a sweetheart! She is a little shy at first, but she is gaining confidence and becoming more outgoing every day. She is affectionate and will just melt into your lap. She is working very hard on potty training and is making great progress. Libby is fantastic with other dogs and will do best in a home that has another companion dog. She and Lolo (also available for adoption) are good buddies. We are offering a $50 discount for each if adopted together. Libby needs a quiet, low activity home. She doesn't live with kids, but may be ok with kids over the age of 10 if they will treat her gently.
