ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/dogs/14375Name: LindaGender: FemaleBreed: Chihuahua MixAge: 1 year old, DOB: April 11, 2024Weight: 14 lbs.Current Location: King William, VA About: LindaMeet Linda. This pint-sized girl with a big heart wants what every dog wants: a safe and comfortable home where he can be loved.See me in action: Click here Arriving to VA off transport!PERSONALITYLinda is very sweet and quiet. She’s a sensitive girl who needs a moment to learn that you’re a friend. She’ll need some time to warm up to unfamiliar faces, but Linda’s foster mom reports that Linda is already getting more comfortable around the people and other dogs in her new temporary home. COMPANIONSHIPLinda prefers the safety of her bed or crate while she observes the hustle and bustle of her foster family. This quiet and polite girl never growls and instead remains peaceful while she checks things out at her own pace. As she gains confidence, Linda is learning to trust people and other dogs. Recently, Linda surprised her foster mom by climbing into a dog bed to cuddle with her foster sibling. LOVE AND AFFECTIONWhile Linda isn’t one to seek attention, she happily lets her people pick her up for cuddles and pets. So far, in her foster home, food is what gets Linda most excited. TRAINING AND LEARNINGLinda is making good progress with her potty-training. Her foster mom says Linda does well if she lets Linda out in the fenced yard without a leash: Linda will usually potty fairly quickly and will come to the door when she's ready to come back in. Linda is also starting to feel comfortable on a leash as she continues to build confidence while taking walks. IDEAL HOMELinda would appreciate a calm household where she can come out of her shell as she gains confidence. This sensitive girl is looking for a patient adopter who will give her some time to settle into her new home. Linda is sure to become a great companion for someone who likes to enjoy life’s quiet moments.Linda is looking for her forever family! Is that with you? Good with:Dogs Not tested with:Kids, cats House trained:Mostly with an occasional accident Energy level:Medium Noise level:Medium My foster guardian says: My favorite thing about Benji is what a cuddle bug he is! Likes:short walks, riding in the car Hi there! Im Benji! Im the cuddliest little chihuahua youll ever meet. My favorite place to be is curled up in someones lap! If I could be touching my human 100% of the time, I would be! Im a pup who would love to have one special buddy. I dont need a huge pack, or a lot of doggy siblings running around. Im a friendly guy, and I like to sniff hello with other dogs when Im out on a walk. Aside fro that though, Im not really a dogs dog. Im really all about my humans! Im crate trained, and Im good on leash too! Short walks are my jam! I like to go on car rides and adventures, especially ones that involve me being carried or getting snacks. Are you looking for a chihuahua-shaped shadow to follow you around and be your best buddy? Then you need a Benji! Apply to adopt me today! Benji is on Vetmedin for a heart condition. Story
Good with:Dogs Not tested with:Kids, Cats House trained:Mostly with an occasional accident Energy level:Low Noise level:Quiet My foster guardian says:My favorite thing about Rascal is how loyal and affectionate he is! Likes:short walks, napping, cuddling Hi! Im Rascal! Im a super low energy pup who loves spending time with my foster family. They call me a couch potato, which is pretty accurate. My best skills include lounging, cuddling, vegging out, and dozing! One of the cutest things I do is sitting down to get pets. My foster mom thinks sitting is the coolest trick ever, so I like to do it a lot to make her happy! I generally love making my humans happy, which means Im an easy guy to train. Im also a good listener! When someone tells me to stop doing something, Im quick to do what they ask, whether thats leaving the squirrels alone, or walking quietly down the hallway. Im even a champ at bath time! I spend my days napping in my crate while my foster mom works, and following my doggy foster brother around the house. Im super well-behaved and laid back inside, and the only thing I chew are my bones! Since my foster family are pretty much the best people ever, I like to spend all my time with them. Im practising getting comfortable staying home alone. With a bit more practice, Ill be a pro! Before I came to D.C., my life wasnt easy, so learning that people can be safe and fun has been an adjustment for me. I get a little unsure around new people, and I like to take introductions slow. The world can look pretty scary when youre only 20 pounds. Youd be cautious too! Once I get some slow sniffs in, then Im all about making new friends. If youre looking for a little snuggle buddy who will be your loyal companion for life, I think we would be a great match! Apply to adopt me today! To learn more about Foxy, please get in touch with dogs@lostdogrescue.org Distinguished and handsome gentleman Foxy may be only 9 pounds but he brings tons of joy wherever he goes! Foxy can be a little reserved at first meeting. Just like some pups (and humans), he just needs a bit of a time to get to know you before he shows what a sweetheart he is. And Foxy is as sweet as they come! He is a happy pup and wags his tail like an helicopter. He loves being outside to watch people, other dogs, or just enjoy the fresh air. He patiently waits for his turn to go outside by napping in between. Foxy effortlessly brings smiles to those around him including strangers by simply being his happy and adorable self. Are you looking for a calm and relaxed pup who looks at you with a lot of love and joy every time you come into the room? Do you enjoy having a pup companion but don’t have much time to walk them to spend their excess energy? Meet Foxy and be ready to fall in love at first sight.

To learn more about Brownie, please get in touch with dogs@lostdogrescue.org Hi, I'm Brownie! I'm a cute little Chihuahua mix. Don’t these big brown eyes make you melt? I am playful and love to explore. I am also very affectionate and love lots of snuggles. I enjoy many activities, from walking — I don’t pull on the leash, I am super chill — to cuddle time on the couch. Don’t forget the belly rubs … they’re my favorite! I love to play fetch, too. Toss me a squeaky toy and I'll get choo. While I'm still a puppy, I'm really well housebroken. I usually only need to go out every few hours during the day, and I sleep through the night. I'm good at letting you know when I need to go potty. I hope to find my forever home with you! Adopt me today, and I know I'll fill your life with joy and happiness, bringing all my playfulness and love to your home. Count on me to be your most faithful companion. I can’t wait to meet you!
