Dewey Mixed breed | 9 pounds | Neutered | Micripchipped | Vaccinated | Housebroken | 4 years old Dewey came to us from a shelter in Sacramento, CA. He can be very sweet and loves cuddles and belly rubs, but is extremely protective of his food. We have been working on this with him and feed him separately from the other dogs in the home. He did bite his previous foster, but there has been no more biting issues in his new foster home. That said we don't believe he will do well with young children, but dog savvy children would be okay. He likes to be outside sunning, he is a loner but loves human attention. He's not a barker, he does well in a crate. Blueberry can be a little protective of that love and attention (he doesn’t always enjoy sharing lap time!), but he’s been making great progress and just needs a patient, dog-savvy owner to guide him and reinforce healthy boundaries. He truly wants to do well and thrives with structure and understanding. The good news? Blueberry does well with other dogs in general, and he has shown wonderful improvement around new people. In his foster home, he’s been welcoming visitors like a champ! Even better—he LOVES kids and gets excited whenever they come around. Blueberry would do best in a home with someone who understands his quirks and is committed to helping him continue building confidence. Jax is a Rescue dog for my dad after having a stroke as an emotional support dog.Jax isn’t good with little kids, he will bite! He’s tends to get jealous around baby’s/kids, he wants to be in the same room as everyone but needs his own space to be left alone.He does tricks such as sit, lay down, jump, spin & give me paw for treats! He’s really a good dog, & wants to be loved, walked, and given attention. He loves to go on adventures, take walks & play fetch. He’s also a home body, loves to layout and sleep. He is potty trained, & he will scratch the door to communicate his needs to go potty.He can get wild around other dogs & cats, He tries to jump at them. He use to live with 5 other dogs and 4 kids, it’s sure it caused him anxiety.Can bite unfamiliar people if they pursue petting him or getting close to his owner.
