At just over a year old, she has the perfect balance of youthful energy and growing maturity. She enjoys spending time with her people and thrives on companionship, attention, and being part of the family. Daisy is happiest when she can form a close bond with her humans and enjoy a calm, loving environment. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue dogs come from uncertain beginnings and may not have had structure, socialization, or training before arriving at rescue. Because of this, most rescue dogs arrive with only basic training at best, and some may have had no formal training at all. The rescue environment itself also does not always allow for extensive one-on-one training. While we work hard to provide safety, structure, socialization, and basic guidance, adopters should expect to continue training and support after adoption. Like all rescue dogs, Daisy may need time to adjust to a new home and routine. Patience, consistency, and love will help her feel secure and allow her wonderful personality to shine. Daisy will need: Daily walks, exercise, and interaction Continued training and guidance Routine veterinary care and wellness exams Preventative care including flea, tick, and heartworm prevention Proper nutrition and weight management Regular grooming and coat maintenance Mental stimulation and enrichment A safe, stable, indoor living environment Because of her Cocker Spaniel coat, regular grooming and coat care will be important to keep her comfortable and healthy. Daisy is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside.
