Story
Meet Bo!   Bo (Brother of Bonitto) is a 5-month-old, active, smart and playful pup from Kansas who's ready to find his Forever Colorado home! This rising star absolutely loves having a dog buddy to romp around with and does great with other dogs, showing the same teamwork and leadership that #10 brings to the field every Sunday. Bo is also very respectful of cats and their boundaries, making him a wonderful candidate for a multi-pet household—he knows how to read the defense! He's currently working on his training and already knows how to sit and wait (perfecting that snap count timing!), and he's learning to walk nicely on a leash. After an exciting day of play, he's great at cuddling on the couch with his foster humans—think of it as his version of watching film—and he sleeps great in his crate. He's shy with new people at first, probably from the lack of socialization as a pup in the shelter, but opens up after a couple days, just like a rookie finding his confidence in the NFL.   With his sweet nature, playful energy, and eagerness to learn, Bo is going to make an amazing companion for a lucky Broncos Country family. This underdog is ready to prove he's got what it takes to be your MVP! Apply to adopt this handsome guy at EAPL.com! His adoption fee is $375. Let's Ride!     His adoption fee is $375 January 17, 2026, 10:02 am

Story
My story is both heart-warming and heartbreaking, but I'm glad I found my way back to the rescue organization that can help me find the forever home I deserve. I can be a gentle and loyal companion who simply craves the love and attention that every dog deserves. Despite the neglect I experienced in my previous home,I have adjusted well since being returned to the rescue. My shyness and caution around men is understandable, but with the right patience and care, I'm confident I will blossom into a wonderful family member. Here are a few key points about you that stand out: I am a loyal and humble companion who appreciates the simple things in life, like gentle pats and a calm voice. I may be a bit shy at first, but will warm up to people and become the heart of the home. I would do best in a quiet, loving environment, and would make a great match for older children or a veteran looking for a furry friend. Despite the neglect in my past, I have adjusted well since being returned to the rescue.  I truly believe that with the right forever family who is willing to give me the time, patience, and love I deserve, I will flourish. I have so much to offer, and I hope to find that special someone who can provide me with the forever home I've been searching for.  Please fill out an application for me at www.fureverdogdenver.com, if you have any questions or would like to meet me, please call 720 588-6809. ##2096191##

Story
Donnie is ready for a home of his own! This young guy is eager to meet you. He`s been showing off his social butterfly skills here at the shelter and will appreciate continued opportunities to have positive interactions with people. At his young age, Donnie is in the sweet spot for socialization to set him up for success as he grows up. He`d love a family that will help him experience the world in a positive, happy way. And he`ll pay it forward to you with lots of puppy cuddles! Given his young age and sensitive nature, HSBV will only rehome Donnie to a home without children or with children 8 and over. Donnie is waiting to meet you!

Story
*****Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time*********** We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. ___ Meet Mylo – a 4-year-old, neutered, 44-pound Cattle Dog mix with a tongue that just can’t be tamed and a heart that’s even bigger. Currently in a foster home in San Antonio, TEXAS, Mylo is ready to transport out of state once his forever family is approved and ready to fall in love. Let’s start with the obvious: Mylo has a perma-blep. That’s right—his tongue is just a little too long for his mouth, and it’s almost always peeking out like he’s mid-lick or permanently saying, “hi.” A vet has checked it out and confirmed there’s nothing wrong—he was just born with extra tongue and endless flavor to sample. It doesn’t cause him pain, but it does mean he occasionally needs a little extra hydration. He also has a slight protruding bone at the base of his rib cage—again, no cause for concern, just more proof that this boy was truly “born this way.” We like to say he’s one part goofball, one part model, and 100% original. Mylo is an affectionate, silly, and curious guy who loves to play and explore. He has a bit of that classic Cattle Dog energy—he thrives with daily activity, enjoys long walks, and loves a good romp in the yard. He plays well with dogs of all sizes and currently lives in a multi-dog home with pups ranging from tiny Chihuahuas to an 80-pound Boxer mix. He does well reading other dogs’ social cues and adjusts his play accordingly. He’s also very vocal when he plays or gets excited—growling, grunting, and making silly noises are just part of his charm. Once you get to know him, you’ll realize it’s just his voice, not a sign of anything aggressive. He enjoys meeting new dogs on walks, though he might sound a little intense at first—again, that vocal streak—but he’s friendly and well-mannered. He’s shown some interest in chasing cats, so to be safe, a feline-free home is best. Mylo has met children of various ages through his foster family and has done well overall. Due to his occasional jumping and enthusiasm, we recommend a home with older kids (10+) who are steady on their feet and understand how to interact with an active dog. He’s loving and playful, and with continued positive training, will only improve his manners. This boy LOVES walks and has a zest for getting out and about. He can pull on leash when excited, so a no-pull harness or Gentle Leader may help make walks more enjoyable. He’s fully house trained and has been trusted to stay loose when unsupervised, usually sticking to his gated area and dog bed like a gentleman. While he hasn’t been crated in his foster home, he’s done very well with the freedom and would likely thrive in a home where someone is around more often than not, or with a flexible schedule. Mylo is currently fed separately from the other dogs—not because he’s aggressive, but because he prefers not to share his snacks or special treats. (Honestly, who among us does?) With his people, though, he’s playful, cuddly, and incredibly affectionate. He greets his foster dad with enthusiastic hops and playful vocalizations, looking like the happiest dog in the world—with his tongue hanging out and his tail wagging in full swing. He’s also very smart and responsive to redirection. He listens when called, loves being praised, and wants so badly to be a good boy. Like many herding breeds, he thrives on routine and benefits from clear communication and a bit of structure. He may occasionally flinch at quick movements or new objects (like a broom), so a patient home that understands his background and lets him settle in at his own pace will help him feel his best. Here’s what Mylo is hoping for in his forever home: - A moderately active family with a yard or access to one where he can run, sniff, and sunbathe - A few good walks a day or fetch sessions to burn energy and keep him happy - A family who will give him tons of love, belly rubs, and attention - People who embrace his quirky personality and celebrate his uniqueness - Continued support with basic manners like jumping and treat-taking (he’s already working on it!) - A home with older kids (10+) and maybe a friendly dog buddy or two - And most importantly: a soft place to land and be loved for exactly who he is Mylo is a one-of-a-kind pup with a silly smile, a loyal heart, and so much love to give. He’s smart, affectionate, endlessly goofy, and ready to find a family who sees his magic. If you’re looking for a lovable sidekick who will keep you laughing, snuggling, and moving, Mylo might be the perfect match for you. ___ **Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. ** Interested in applying to adopt him?
