Story
My story is both heart-warming and heartbreaking, but I'm glad I found my way back to the rescue organization that can help me find the forever home I deserve. I can be a gentle and loyal companion who simply craves the love and attention that every dog deserves. Despite the neglect I experienced in my previous home,I have adjusted well since being returned to the rescue. My shyness and caution around men is understandable, but with the right patience and care, I'm confident I will blossom into a wonderful family member. Here are a few key points about you that stand out: I am a loyal and humble companion who appreciates the simple things in life, like gentle pats and a calm voice. I may be a bit shy at first, but will warm up to people and become the heart of the home. I would do best in a quiet, loving environment, and would make a great match for older children or a veteran looking for a furry friend. Despite the neglect in my past, I have adjusted well since being returned to the rescue.  I truly believe that with the right forever family who is willing to give me the time, patience, and love I deserve, I will flourish. I have so much to offer, and I hope to find that special someone who can provide me with the forever home I've been searching for.  Please fill out an application for me at www.fureverdogdenver.com, if you have any questions or would like to meet me, please call 720 588-6809. ##2096191##

Story
Gimme Five is whip smart and sweet as they come. He has been working on “sit” “touch” and “down” and is doing great at crate training. He will go in to the kennel easily for a treat and then only whines for a bit- but we think he’s manly whining because he isn’t with us- (neither him or his brother, Nekototo whine when we all leave the house, only when we go to bed in the other room) Gimme seems really pack oriented and enjoys knowing where everyone is and being able to get to them for reassurance, attention, and snuggles. Gimme is doing really well at potty training and will often boop the bells on the door when he wants to go outside. Gimme lives with a rambunctious 2 year old human foster brother and does really well with him (occasional unsure barking if the kiddo is being extra loud), but Gimme Five needs to be reminded of what toys are puppy toys and what toys are for the kiddo. Gimme is a quintessential steal your slippers puppy but as smart as he is with experienced training, he’ll also be a steal your heart puppy. He is in foster, if you are interested in meeting him please submit an application on our website. Email asopt@souldog.org with questions!

Story
Nekototto, who goes by the nickname Neeko, is a sweet and smart pup who checks so many boxes for an amazing companion. He is very close to fully potty trained, knows sit, and is doing well with touch. He is also solid with crate training, sleeps through the night, and even anticipates when it is time to kennel.Neeko is playful, affectionate, and eager to learn, but he can be a little cautious when first meeting new people. He may take a moment to warm up, and once he does, his personality really shines. He bonded quickly with the resident dog in his foster home, so he would do great with a dog friend in his forever home.Neeko currently lives with an energetic two year old human. At first he was unsure and would occasionally bark, especially after longer stretches without kid time such as after naps or early in the morning. With time and consistency, he has become comfortable and confident. He now happily sits and gently takes treats from his young human and has even played ball with his foster brother. He is kid friendly, though he may be a little hesitant with very young kids at first.Neeko has a big personality and so much love to give his forever family. Story
Meet Bo!   Bo (Brother of Bonitto) is a 5-month-old, active, smart and playful pup from Kansas who's ready to find his Forever Colorado home! This rising star absolutely loves having a dog buddy to romp around with and does great with other dogs, showing the same teamwork and leadership that #10 brings to the field every Sunday. Bo is also very respectful of cats and their boundaries, making him a wonderful candidate for a multi-pet household—he knows how to read the defense! He's currently working on his training and already knows how to sit and wait (perfecting that snap count timing!), and he's learning to walk nicely on a leash. After an exciting day of play, he's great at cuddling on the couch with his foster humans—think of it as his version of watching film—and he sleeps great in his crate. He's shy with new people at first, probably from the lack of socialization as a pup in the shelter, but opens up after a couple days, just like a rookie finding his confidence in the NFL.   With his sweet nature, playful energy, and eagerness to learn, Bo is going to make an amazing companion for a lucky Broncos Country family. This underdog is ready to prove he's got what it takes to be your MVP! Apply to adopt this handsome guy at EAPL.com! His adoption fee is $375. Let's Ride!     His adoption fee is $375 January 17, 2026, 10:02 am

Story
Rozata came to Soul Dog in October 2025 nursing four small puppies. She was extremely skinny, covered in scabs from sarcoptic mange, and very timid. She immediately went to a quiet foster home to raise her babies and get healthy. She has started to come out of her shell, turned into a beauty and is sure to become someone's beloved friend. She is completely housetrained, quiet, and loving. She has learned how to walk on a leash, and loves to just stand close to her humans and be fed treats. She has been around other dogs and kids and done well. Her temperament is quiet and gentle, and she may do best in a calm and adult household. She likely has not lived in a house as a pet before coming to Soul Dog, and will need a family committed to showing her all the ways of the world and helping her sweet nature continue to blossom with confidence. She is in a foster home, please apply on our website if you are interested in adopting her. Email adopt@souldog.org with any questions.
