Story
Hello - my name is Frankie! I'm from Texas and guessed to be a Lab / Cattle Dog mix. I am a handsome pup with lots of energy, hoping to find my furever home in Colorado! I'm a little over 1.5 years old and weigh aboout 68 lbs, I love to run and play ball and would do best with a big fenced yard and an outgoing family willing to spend time with me and include me on their adventures. I'm confident, good with most other dogs (does best with submissive females), and also a quick learner - especially if you have hot dogs. Sure would be great if you could come by Windsor and meet me!

Lebron is a 7 month old Cattle dog mix, and boy is this pup a looker! Lebron is a gorgeous, happy and energetic. He is dog friendly, likes people and kids, and doesn't have immediate prey drive for chickens, so he may be trainable to live with free range livestock. He doesn't seem to mind kittens, either, so cats could be a possibility for him, too! Lebron is very smart and would love a home where he can learn all kinds of new things! He can't wait to find his family! Apply for Lebron and come meet him at our Wellington location!

Story
Hi there! I'm Maddie, guessed to be a 6 month old Cattle Dog or Heeler mix, around 30 lbs. I just came up from Texas a few days ago. It was really scary driving all the way up here, and I didn't want to come out of my crate at all when I got here, but now that I know everybody is so nice and fun, I'm happy as can be! I have SO much puppy energy, and would love somewhere to run around and play, and even a brother or sister to play with! I love other dogs, and cats, too! I'm actually a really good walker on the leash for how young I am....or so I'm told. I'm okay with my crate, and I sleep really well once I'm in it, naps and all! I even sleep all the way through the night! I'm a super smart girl so I've already pretty much figured out potty training....I've only had one accident in the house and I promise I'm working REALLY hard on it :) My foster dad says I am a super happy little girl with a pretty calm demeanor, I just have too much energy for my own good haha! He says I am super smart and I'm picking things up really fast and learning a ton from my foster brother. I'm really happy to be up here (Texas was really scary in that shelter!), but I really want my own family SO bad. I'll be the BEST dog, I promise! You just have to tire me out a bit first ;) I would love to say hi, come meet me in Denver! See ya soon!

Story
Cooper, Blue Heeler, 4.5 yrs., 40-45 lbs. Cooper tends to be shy at first but warms up pretty quick. He has a lot of energy and loves playing with Junie going on walks and exploring with her. He LOVES attention. He is a very loving and loyal dog with the silliest personality. I think he may be more human than dog. He gets along with other dogs but does take a minute to acclimate to them. He loves to give kisses (I think he was a lizard in his past life…hahaha). Junie, Australian Shepherd/Heeler, 4.5 yrs., 40-45 lbs. Junie is a very loving and loyal dog. She is the boss and loves keeping Cooper in line. She likes to go on walks and explore with him. She gets along with other dogs great, but she will growl when she has had her fill. She will not nip or bite. She is a bit more relaxed and laid back than Cooper, but still loves to play around with him. She also is a bit of an attention hog. She will stare through your soul until you acknowledge her. She is very in tune with human emotion and will snuggle with you when you are sad. She’s a very sweet soul. She also may be more human than dog. They are a bonded pair. They have grown up together and I would hate to separate them. They are soulmates and I would love for them to stay together. I understand that this is a lot to ask, but they are so worth it! We are having to re-home them due to a move across the country. This means we will be living out of a small camper and traveling all over the southeast. I don’t feel that this is a fair life for my pups to live. They love to run and play, and they wouldn’t get this freedom if they came with us.

Story
Lorie is the embodiment of a true herding breed. She is intelligent, playful, and eager to please. She has just entered Bounce's care so she is still navigating home structure and rules, but is a quick study. While she gets along with dogs and cats, she is a bit socially awkward when trying to play. Like many herding breeds, she plays by "refereeing and enjoys herding and mouthing at her friends. While completely harmless, she will likely showcase these behaviors with young children and a home with no children is advised. Lorie LOVES food and will need to be fed separately from other animals. She would enjoy a home with a playful canine friend or an active human family. Lorie walks well on a leash, sleeps in her kennel, and is learning house training quickly. She likes to play fetch and work on food puzzles. To add this adventurous friend to your home, apply today! Lorie is a 1-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $250 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Lorie is also tested with other dogs, cats, kennel trained, and housebroken. She would do best in a home with no or older children. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. Lorie has congenitally related abnormalities in her left eye, including a missing section of the iris (the colored part of the eye). This is a common finding in Cattle Dogs and does not impact her vision or quality of life. Lorie is missing her right eye, likely because it never developed in the first place (i.e. we do not suspect a traumatic cause). There is no recommended treatment or medical intervention needed for her missing right eye. Due to Lorie's happy and smart demeanor, a missing right eye doesn't impact her zest for life! The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.

Story
Meet the Heeler litter! These adorable, chunky babies are ready to find their forever homes! From her current foster: "Neptune is the sweetest girl ever. She is so smart and is potty trained. She knows how to sit, shake, lay down and some other tricks! She loves having furry friends to play with but get a little overwhelmed around a lot of people. She would do amazing in a home with another animal to help her decompress better. She hasn't been around kids or cats so she might be a little scared but would warm up to them. She also isn't a huge fan of loud noises or being left alone (especially in a crate). She loves to lay on the couch and nap and get to soak up the sun! She is so mellow and loves to get the zoomies before bed and then snuggle up on your pillow. Overall she is an amazing dog with a super funny and silly personality!" From Neptune's Previous Foster: "Neptune is the sweetest girl ever! She absolutely loves to sleep and cuddle with you. She doesn't like loud noises or being left alone. We are still working on potty training and haven't gotten much time for crate training. She's met some other humans and takes a little to get used to them. She hasn't met any other cats yet but she used to love playing with our other foster when we had him and does great with other dogs! Her favorite spot to lay is on the couch and loves to soak up the sun from the window (perfect for her naps!). She is learning basic commands and knows she gets a treat whenever she goes potty outside. Overall she is a quick learner and has such a funny personality." ADOPTION FEE: $550 We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 10:00am to 1:00pm at our rescue office (1721 W Harmony, unit 102, Fort Collins, Co 80526)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays! Please consider supporting us in this mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.

Story
Looking for more love and laughs in your life? Then I might be just who you are looking for! I'm Canuta, a silly and affectionate girl who's ready to play hard and then snooze out. I'm still working on curbing some of my youthful enthusiasm, so I would do best in a family without young children. But with consistent training and enrichment activities I am learning to channel my energy in the right direction. I love a good hike as much as a good nap. But I really love food! I have even been known to drool while my foster family fills up my puzzle feeder! I am highly food motivated and am eager to learn any new tricks or skills you may want to teach me. If you are looking for a fun and loyal sidekick, look no further and ask about me today!
