Story
Meet handsome Dakota! He was surrendered to the shelter on 10/29 because he was being destructive and someone in the family wasn't being very kind to him. It was noted that Dakota is dog-friendly, but he needs work on his house-training skills. The volunteers describe Dakota as very energetic and athletic. He is a herding dog breed who will do best in a family who can keep him physically and mentally stimulated. A destructive dog is often a bored dog with no structure. Crate training and lots of activity will do wonders for Dakota. He will sit briefly when asked, and is very jumpy when excited. He'll need someone patient and kind to work with him on basic manners. If you can meet Dakota's needs, please come meet him! With a little refinement, he'll make a wonderful BFF!! Dakota is approximately 10 months old, and weighs 51 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Dakota is waiting in run 809; his ID # is 14720. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.

Story
Hi, I'm Lottie! I love finding cozy spots for quiet time and am quite the puzzle master when it comes to treat games. Though I might be a bit shy at first, give me a little time, and I'll show you my playful side with my favorite toys. I cherish my independence but don't worry, I'm also very sweet and gentle. I dream of a home where I can share smart tricks and quiet cuddles. If you're looking for a calm, loving companion, I'm your girl. Let's make wonderful memories together!Lottie Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 49.1 Age: 3yrs 1mths 0wks
