Story
Dovi is a loving, energetic young dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He’s still a puppy, which means he loves to play, explore, and be part of whatever you’re doing. He’s affectionate and enjoys sitting in your lap for attention, but he’s also perfectly content relaxing on his dog bed after some playtime. Training & Behavior   •    Crate trained   •    House training in progress — he’s improved greatly and we’re working on teaching him to alert when he needs to go outside.   •    Walks well on a harness but still developing his leash skills.   •    Takes medicine easily with Cheese Whiz.   •    Not food aggressive.   •    Doesn’t bark excessively, but will alert when someone unfamiliar enters the home.   •    Will stand on his hind legs and place his front paws on you for attention (this wasn’t trained out of him because he learned it living around larger dogs). Social Personality   •    Loves playing with other dogs.   •    Not cat aggressive — he has been around three cats and mostly just sniffs them.   •    Doesn’t mind the rain.   •    Tolerates baths (even if they’re not his favorite). Energy & Lifestyle Dovi is a medium-energy dog who needs daily structure and a few minutes of focused exercise and play. He thrives with routine and clear expectations. He would do especially well in:   •   A home where someone is around much of the day, or   •   A home with another dog for companionship. He did sneak out the door once but didn’t run off. He generally comes when called, though like many puppies, he may need a second reminder if something exciting has his attention. Bottom line:Dovi is a sweet, affectionate, playful dog with a strong personality who will thrive with structure, consistency, and love. With continued training and routine, he’s going to be an exceptional companion. ##2642950##

Story
HI, I&#39M BUD! I&#39M PEOPLE, DOG AND EVEN CAT FRIENDLY. IF YOU&#39D LIKE TO MEE ME, PLEASE FILL OUT THE APPLICATION AT WWW.BARKVILLEDOGRESCUE.ORG/APPLICATION OR EMAIL US AT INFO@BARKVILLEDOGRESCUE.ORG. Meet Bud! Bud is a 10-year-old Collie mix, weighing 55 pounds of quiet sweetness and gentle charm. With his beautiful coat and soulful eyes, this handsome boy has so much love to give. Bud is a low-energy boy who enjoys a peaceful routine. He walks nicely on a leash, knows his basic commands, and is both house and crate trained -- making him an easy, comfortable companion for a calm home. Bud came from a heartbreaking hoarding situation where he lived among nearly 150 other dogs. Because of that, he didn&#39t get the individual attention and socialization he deserved, and he can be a little skittish when meeting new people. But underneath that initial shyness is a tender, loyal heart just waiting to bond with his person. One thing that truly brings Bud joy is playing with other dogs. He feels most comfortable around his furry friends and loves spending time with them. A home with another friendly dog and a fenced-in backyard where he can safely hang out, explore, and play would be ideal for him. Bud can also live with cats, making him a wonderful option for a multi-pet household. With patience, kindness, and consistency, Bud truly blossoms. He doesn&#39t need much -- just someone willing to move at his pace, focus on him, and show him what it truly means to be loved. In return, he will offer unwavering loyalty and the kind of unconditional love only a grateful dog can give. Bud is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated -- ready to start his new chapter. If you&#39d like to be the hero this beautiful boy has been waiting for, please inquire at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or fill out an application at www.barkvilledogrescue.org. Bud has waited a long time for his person. Maybe that person is you. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from his foster home.March 8, 2026, 12:40 am

Story
Hello! My name is Autumn, and I am the ultimate people-lover. I am incredibly affectionate and focused on my human friends, ready to be both your engaging activity partner and your most dedicated cuddle buddy. I love everyone I meet, and making new human friends is my favorite pastime! I have a wonderful, balanced energy level. I am always happy to go for a long sniff-ari walk, where I enjoy spying on squirrels and other critters—my curiosity is endless! I am already well-trained, boasting excellent leash manners and impeccable food manners. When the adventure is over, I transition instantly into a "super cuddly" mode, ready for deep snuggles on the couch. I am very attentive and focused on people, which makes me a joy to live with. I'd be a wonderful fit for an active family looking for a loving companion. While I adore humans, I can be anxious around new dogs and need patient, very slow introductions. I currently live with cats and am curious but not aggressive towards them; I return easily to my person if a cat seems uncomfortable. A patient, loving home that is ready for endless affection is my dream! Apply on the MACS Friends website!March 7, 2026, 3:47 pm
