Story
Say hello to Chip!! This adorable, Collie/Lab mix little cutie is just waiting for you to cuddle him up! Chip is friendly, fun, playful, and absolutely lovable. At just 14 weeks old and 8 pounds, he’s at the perfect age to start discovering the world, learning new things, and bonding with his forever family. He’s the kind of puppy who will keep you smiling with his silly antics and puppy curiosity. Whether he’s playing, exploring, or soaking up attention, Chip is happiest when he’s part of the action. Like all puppies, Chip will need a family ready for the fun—and responsibility—of puppyhood, including continued training, socialization, patience, and lots of love. If you’re looking for a sweet, fun-loving little companion to grow up with, Chip might just be your guy! Chip is ready to find his forever family! Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Birthdate:  05/30/2026Breed: One of a kindWeight:   Still growing!Meet our shelter’s pasta pups - Bucatini, Lasagna, Cavatelli, Parpadelle, Angel Hair, Tagliatelle, Gnocchi, and Fusilli! Each one is named after a favorite pasta shape—and, just like pasta, they come in all kinds of personalities. These playful pups are always ready to jump into the fun, whether that means chasing a toy, making new friends, or exploring something they’ve never seen before. They’re also eager learners, happily picking up new tricks and skills with a little patience, praise, and plenty of treats. These puppies are wonderfully adaptable and full of potential. They may start out as little noodles, but with love and guidance, they’re ready to become the perfect companions. So if you’re looking for a puppy who is playful, curious, and excited to learn, come meet our pasta litter! They’re warm, lovable, and ready to find their forever homes—because every good family deserves a little extra pasta in their lives. These puppies are able to be adopted together or separately!    The Rescue is open 7 days a week for you to come and meet our pets! Walk-ins are welcome! In order to interact with them, you’ll need a simple questionnaire filled out. You can fill this out at the Rescue or before you come in at: https://www.pawscrossedny.org/dog-adoption-questionnaire . If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold pets for any reason. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants. The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.September 1, 2026, 2:10 am
