River gets along great with other dogs and is a social guy. He loves to play and will make an awesome pet to a lucky family. Due to River's young age, an adopter who is home most of the day is preferred. A FULLY FENCED FRONT OR BACK YARD IS REQUIRED. We adopt within 30 minutes of Wyckoff, Wayne, Dumont and Glen Rock NJ and Huntington NY. Other locations will be considered based on our availability to conduct a home visit in your area. Sherman is a 7-8  yr old medium sized mixed breed dog.  He is very playful and affectionate, has a medium energy level, and enjoys leashed walks, romping in the yard, and riding in the car. He has been good with other friendly dogs about his size or larger, but is reactive to dogs he doesn't know and chases cats.  He is house trained.  Sherman needs a firm, but calm, fair, confident and consistent leader willing to invest some time in training him to drop high value items.  He is overly protective of his food and treats.  For this reason, Sherman needs a home with no children.  Sherman also  occasionally has mild seizures that have not required medical intervention to date. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Bella (AL) is a female Collie mix estimated to be 18 months of age at time of rescue from AL in March 2023. She weighed 26 pounds at that time. Bella is good with people and other dogs, is up to date on core vaccines, has been spayed, and is microchipped. Bella is the perfect lady with beautiful black fur, no chewing, no excessive barking, just excessive snuggles and kisses. She is also intelligent and affectionate, and her favorite pastime is being hugged and petted. Bella would love a home where her people will spend lots of time loving on her. Bella would also love a fenced in backyard or a home with people who can take her on long walks throughout the day.  This beautiful girl l ikes her crate and will quietly hang out there when needed.   Bella is smart, well-behaved and such a love.  She's good with other dogs but would do best in a home with older children who can respect boundaries.
