Story
Eggs is a 6 month old Low Rider Mix who is one happy guy! He is playful, smart, goofy and intelligent. He loves other dogs, people, and a tad over excited about cats. He has a voice so apartment’s will not be his thing! The best fit for Eggs is a home with a yard, older kids, and an adventurous family/person. He also would love a playful mate but be fine as a single dude with activity. Eggs is a catch!     March 25, 2025, 9:03 am

Story
Introducing Angus!  This chonky little corgi pup is almost 12 weeks old and already weighs in at 10lbs.  He is growing fast and is now ready to find his forever family. Angus is your typical corgi. He is playful, makes friends with everyone he meets, and of course is a little naughty at times.  He currently loves shoes, and often tries sneak off with one when he thinks no one is watching. He already knows how to use his voice and is a real talker, including puppy howls when he hears sirens. Like most puppies, chewing is his favorite activity so lots of toys are a must, especially those with squeakers! Angus is doing great with potty training, but he will need let out often with reminders and positive reinforcement until he his older. He sleeps in a crate at night in his foster mom’s room and does well for short periods during the day. Angus loves to play and would love another dog to wrestle and play chase with. He is looking for a home with a secure and puppy proofed yard and preferably a family with herding breed experience. He has not been tested with cats but has done well with chickens and the rabbit in his foster home. Respectful children 10+ may be considered. Puppy training and socialization classes are highly recommended, and, as a puppy, he will need someone home with him most of the day. He is not a good fit for an apartment situation or young children. If you’re interested in meeting Angus, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms as the first step. We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Angus is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and chipped. His adoption fee is $550, and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.May 15, 2025, 10:44 pm

Story
Tater Tot (aka Tater, Tate, fka Trent) Tater is a Professional Fun Haver! His awesome personality will keep you smiling 24/7. Tater loves playing frisbee, ball, and enjoys  going on a nice walk. He is beautifully crate trained,  house trained, knows how to use a dog door, and his recall is amazing! When it's time to relax, he has a great off switch. Tate knows no strangers, human or canine, and loves everyone. He is a very smart Cowboy Corgi mix approx 22# and knows some basic cues like sit and shake. Being about 1 year old, he still has puppy energy and loves playing with toys, humans, and his foster siblings. He greets all humans and dogs walking by the yard when he's outside, so he is not a good fit for an apartment situation and requires a fenced in yard. Tater is food motivated and loves his treats! He is super sweet and enjoys snuggling with his foster parents on the couch. He sleeps in or out of his kennel at night and is potty trained. Tater would benefit from an active and experienced owner who has the time to dedicate to his training and isn’t gone long hours. He is not kid or cat tested but a respectful child 10+ may be considered. If you’re interested in meeting Tater, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Tater is neutered, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $375 and we do not adopt outside Colorado.    May 5, 2025, 5:46 pm

Story
This amazing ball of floof is Oreo. Oreo was surrendered by his owner due to too many dogs. Oreo is approximately 1.5 y/o and 30#. He is a good boy who would do best with another playful tolerant dog his size in his new home. He is a bit fearful of bigger dogs. Oreo walks well on the leash and would benefit from daily walks and a basic doggie manners class. Oreo is working on marking and gets better every day. He needs continued support and supervision and let outside often to do his business. He currently wears a belly band at night and sleeps in a dog bed. He tolerates a kennel for short periods but doesn’t love it, so someone home during the day would be best. His fluffy coat will require more than average grooming. Oreo is fearful of grabby hands, humans reaching over him, and fast movements towards him so only homes with children 12+ or no kids will be considered. We do not know how he is with cats but he is very herdy so cats aren’t recommended. Oreo is not a good fit for an apartment situation and requires a fenced in yard. A Corgi experienced home would be best as he’s not a good option for a first time owner. He needs some time to settle and patience while he learns a new routine in a new environment with new people. He can be nervous at first, but once he feels comfortable, he is very affectionate and cuddly. If you are interested in meeting Oreo, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at  https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms  We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Oreo is neutered, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $450 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado. April 13, 2025, 9:00 pm

Story
Riley is a sweet and loving girl who has been bounced around most of her life and is now ready to settle down with her forever family! She is a 28-lb, 7 year-old corgi mix (maybe Cojack or Cowboy Corgi). She is potty trained, crate trained, kid-friendly (6+), cat-friendly,  and dog-friendly. She gets along with dogs of all sizes! She does great on leashed walks; she is super smart and responds to "sit", "lie down", "up", "paw", "leave it", "bed", and probably more cues her foster family hasn't yet discovered. She will occasionally give the "I don’t want to" Corgi side-eye but she is too well-behaved to ignore her humans completely.  She loves chew toys and belly rubs. Riley does not require a fenced yard if her humans are willing to take her on decent walks several times a day but she has a loud bark so shared walls are not a good fit. Any fence must be secure; she can and will open doors. Riley is the goodest of girls and ready to be loved forever! If you are interested in meeting Riley, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check and meet with everyone in the home. Riley is spayed, UTD on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. Her adoption fee is 325 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.May 6, 2025, 8:02 pm
