Story
Quinn is a 3MO adorably fluffy, cuddly, and sweet little Mutt.  Quinn has the shortest little legs, long body, and beautiful coloring. Our best guess for his breeds is Corgi/Cattle Dog/Pyranese mix.  This is just a total guess since he was found as a stray with one of his siblings, but we are pretty sure they have some cattle dog in them.  We are guessing Quinn will be about 35-45lbs when full grown.  Quinn is a sweet, outgoing, happy-go-lucky pup.  He loves to play with other dogs, his sister, and his human fosters.  He loves to snuggle and follow his foster Momma around the house with curiosity.  Quinn is a smart little guy and would do great with an active family who will make sure he gets to go on lots of outdoor adventures, or a doggy-sibling to play with.  He is the perfect mix of energentic and sweet/snuggly.   If you are interested in adopting Quinn, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com ##2647838##

Story
TicTac is a 5 year old, 18 lb Corgi / Chihuahua mix (this breed identification was made by Texas vets, all we know for certain is that this pup is absolutely irresistible! This little guy had a scary start in life but despite this, TicTac, while initially a bit shy, after a short time becomes the happy-go-lucky and, friendly dog that his breed mix is famous for. From the moment you meet this irresistible dog, it’s impossible not to fall in love with his big personality packed into his little dog body. TicTac is the definition of cuddly. He absolutely loves being close to his people, whether that’s curling up on your lap for a nap, snuggling under a blanket, or following you from room to room with his sweet smile and helicopter wagging tail. Our little guy is also fun-loving, sweet as can be and loves the company of both other gentle dogs and kind people. TicTac is quick to make friends and will thrive in a home that enjoys the adorable and silly natures of both the Corgi and Chihuahua. TicTac will do really well in a home where he’s showered with love, affection and attention. He’s a social little guy who thrives on companionship and would do best in a home with an individual or family (older children are preferred to avoid any tail-pulling or rough handling) who work from home or active retirees who can offer him the full time love and care he deserves. TicTac's new family needs to have the motivation, energy and open heart for a little rescue dog. He will require behavioral guidance and tons of love to nurture a positive attitude about the world. In return TicTac will be a loyal and loving best friend and the greatest lap (or couch) dog ever. When this adorable pup falls in love, he falls hard. He gives 100% of himself to his relationships with both his people and his canine companions. Since TicTac is curious and super-smart dog, he's a blank slate just waiting for a kind and patient human to show him the way. He has all the potential in the world to be an awesome adult companion. TicTac will form firm bonds with his family and learn positive socialization skills through virtual or in-person positive reinforcement Obedience Classes. These classes will make a profound difference in a dog's's ultimate behavior and in his relationship and bonding with his people. It does take time and commitment yet pays off a thousand times over when you have a dog that can accompany you out in the world with excellent behavior. Farfel's Rescue feels very strongly that every dog deserves the opportunity for formal, positive reinforcement / force-free training classes that are virtual or in-person. We therefore aren't willing to adopt TicTac out to a home that doesn't choose to offer him this training opportunity. Farfel's is happy to provide a list of approved positive reinforcement / force-free virtual or in-person trainers in your area. TicTac has been fully vetted and vaccinated to adhere to Farfel's protocol of only adopting out healthy dogs. He has also been neutered to support Farfel's commitment to a future world where dogs are never euthanized for space. Applications are currently being accepted for TicTac and can be found at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/. If you're interested in this sweet, cuddly and fun-loving best friend, please fill out our application form completely and submit. **PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting TicTac, please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application found at the link above or at farfels.com. Adoption site applications such as Petfinder and Adoptapet don't provide enough information and therefore aren't useful. Our Farfel's application is the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving dog. We're sorry, but in many cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.

Story
Cody is ready to find his forever home! Cody was found out on the plains of CO limping on 3 legs. A kind person contacted us to get him the medical care he needed. After an FHO and physical therapy, Cody is using his leg again, although there are still times when he reverts back since he likely used 3 legs for most of his life prior to surgery. Cody is a super sweet and loving 1.5 y/o cowboy Corgi. He weighs approximately 25# and will need another friendly dog in his new home and humans who aren’t gone long hours. Cody is potty trained and crate trained although he can have some excited urination when his person comes home. He is still in his puppy stage and learning about chewing on appropriate things so does require a certain amount of supervision and dog-safe chews like no hides and bully sticks. Cody has not been tested with cats or kids and although very sweet and even tempered, he can be herdy so cats aren’t recommended and kids 12+. Cody is good on the leash, treat motivated, and sleeps in a dog bed at night. He is shy in new situations and doesn’t love the car but is getting used to shorter trips to fun places. Cody requires a secure fenced in yard with room to run around, a moderately active family, and is not a good fit for an apartment situation. His humans should be ok with the bark of a Heeler, although he mostly uses it when he’s excited and not unnecessarily. Cody would benefit from a basic manners class to bond, learn, and gain confidence. If you’re interested in meeting Cody, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at  https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms  We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Cody is neutered, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $400 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado. March 8, 2026, 9:08 am

Story
Does this guy look familiar? This is Cody’s brother, Taz. In an interesting turn of events, the new owner of the pair didn’t have the time to take care of Taz so determined it was in his best interest to give him to Rescue. Taz is a super sweet and loving 1.5 y/o cowboy Corgi. He weighs approximately 26# and would like another friendly dog in his new home who doesn’t mind him being bossy at times or could be an only dog. Humans who aren’t gone long hours will be best as he is used to having someone around and wants to bond with his new person. Taz is potty trained but might lift his leg some in a new place. He’s recently neutered so that should diminish over time. Taz is a little too curious about cats and had not been tested with kids and is herdy so cats aren’t recommended and kids 12+. Taz is new to the leash but very treat motivated to learn. He sleeps in a dog bed at night. He can be hand shy in new situations and likes riding along on the atv with his foster dad. Taz loves to be outside running so the more space the better and requires a secure fenced in yard or farm and is not a good fit for an apartment situation. His humans should be ok with the bark of a Heeler, although he mostly uses it when he’s excited and not unnecessarily. If you are interested in meeting Taz the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home.  He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, chipped, and HW Negative. His adoption fee is $400 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.March 8, 2026, 9:08 am

Story
Meet Biggie! A big, handsome corgi boy with an equally big heart. His family in another state had to surrender him due to a move, so he has come to Colorado in search of his forever home. Biggie is 4 years old and weighs about 40 pounds. He walks well on a leash and enjoys his daily strolls. He loves squeaky and chew toys, and enjoys playing with toys and chasing a ball—although he may not always bring it back or be eager to share. Biggie’s ideal home is one where his people are not gone for long hours and can provide daily walks to support his weight-loss journey. A dog-savvy adopter and/or someone with herding dog experience would be preferred. A secure, fenced yard where he can romp and play would also be wonderful. Biggie does well with other dogs, but we do not know his history with cats. He is both housebroken and crate trained. True to his corgi roots, Biggie has a big voice, so a home with shared walls would likely not be the best fit for him. He is quite the talker, and sometimes it can be difficult to interpret his intentions. For this reason, we feel he would do best in a home without children, as kids may miss the cues he gives when he is feeling uncomfortable. We suspect that Biggie’s past may have included punitive correction, so a home that focuses on positive reinforcement would be ideal to help him build confidence and learn new, positive behaviors. Biggie is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and heartworm negative.  If you are interested in adopting Biggie or would simply like to meet him, the first step is to complete our meet-and-greet application at: https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms . We require a completed application, home and reference checks, and for Biggie to meet everyone in the household prior to adoption. His adoption fee is $400, and we do not adopt out of state.March 9, 2026, 9:09 pm

Story
Super sweet and spicy! Gigi is a 5-month-old, approximately 14 lb. Corgi mix likely with Border Collie, Australian Shepherd, or Heeler. Or velociraptor. Her sweet brown eyes will melt your heart. She was surrendered after the arrival of a baby. Gigi is looking for a home with an experienced, active, and involved adopter. She is very sweet and full of puppy energy. She is not a good fit for a first time herding breed owner. She has been very friendly with dogs and people, but her rambunctious play is going to be too intense for children. She is working on potty training and is doing incredibly well. Daily walks, exercise, and mental stimulation are a must, as is a secure fenced yard for her to run in. Gigi would love a tolerant playmate who is also very active and loves to wrestle. Puppy manners class is highly recommended to help her focus and bond. She is very smart and has learned to use the dog door, and also rides very well in the car. Microchipped, spayed, and up to date on her vaccines, Gigi would love to snuggle very close to you on the couch at night to keep you warm.  If you are interested in meeting Gigi, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at  https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms  We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Her adoption fee is $425 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.  March 8, 2026, 9:08 am
