Story
Heidi is the definition of tiny-but-mighty charm. At just 5 months old, this petite little girl (possibly a Chi/Basenji mix? at least that's what Siri's best guess is) is learning that the world can be safe, soft, and full of love — and watching her confidence bloom has been incredibly special. When Heidi first arrived, she needed a little time to decompress and take everything in. With patience, quiet companionship, and plenty of cozy blankets, she has slowly started to show her sweet and playful personality. Now she greets her people with the happiest wagging tail and bright little zoomies that will absolutely make you smile. Heidi is wonderfully social with other animals. She is especially fascinated by larger dogs (her current favorite is a Great Dane puppy!) and loves to engage in playful small-dog antics. She can be a little snappy during play in that typical tiny-dog style, but it is all tail wags, excitement, and fun. She has also done beautifully with cats — curious and playful, but respectful when corrected. This little lady is still building confidence in the world around her. She does not fully enjoy being held yet and may freeze up when picked up, but she allows handling gently and continues to make progress every day. Once she feels safe, she melts into affection and will lean into pets and snuggles. She especially loves burrowing under blankets and creating herself the coziest little den imaginable. Heidi is already impressively well-mannered for such a young puppy. She is potty pad trained, keeps her space clean, and will even whine to let you know if she needs attention after using her designated potty area. She is just one vaccine away from being leash walkable, but that just means a little extra time to build her confidence before heading out on leash! She settles beautifully in her kennel after a few minutes of protest and sleeps soundly through the night without a peep. She also has the cutest tiny preferences — including favoring small cat bowls over large dog bowls because they feel less intimidating to her. She loves toys, cozy naps, gentle companionship, and sudden bursts of lightning-fast puppy zoomies. Heidi will thrive in a patient home that understands shy dogs and is willing to let her continue growing at her own pace. In return, you’ll get one of the sweetest little souls around. ##2722735##

Story
Sissy is the kind of dog who’s happiest curled up next to you at the end of the day. She’s calm, affectionate, and just wants to be close without being overwhelming. Sissy is a young corgi/JRT mix with a unique look—long and low, but not heavy. She’s the perfect size for couch cuddles and everyday life. She’s very loving and enjoys being with her person, whether that’s relaxing at home or just hanging out nearby. When she first arrived, she was scared of other dogs and reacted out of fear. Once she realized she was safe, she completely relaxed and now does well around them. That tells you a lot about her—she’s sensitive, aware, and able to adjust when she feels secure. Good fit: someone looking for a calm, affectionate companion who enjoys closeness and will settle into a steady, comfortable routine. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. Location: Oklahoma (available to approved out-of-state adopters via transport) Health: Fully vetted (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested) Adoption fee: $500 (includes transport + vetting) Transport routes: WA, OR, ID, MT, UT, WY, CO, MN, WI, IA, IL, IN, OH, PA, MD, NY, NJ, VT Think you might be a good fit? Story
Marcy is the type of dog that makes people smile almost immediately. She has a goofy, happy personality, loves being involved in whatever you are doing, and absolutely lives for water. If there is a pond, creek, kiddie pool, or muddy shoreline nearby, Marcy will find it. Marcy is a stocky, short-legged mixed breed girl around 45 pounds full grown with a personality that balances confidence and sensitivity in a really unique way. She loves adventures, swimming, exploring, and outdoor activities, but she is not a nonstop high-energy dog. She can absolutely keep up on hikes, walks, or active days, then happily relax afterward. She is great with other dogs and cats. With dogs, she does best around friendly, respectful personalities. She can get intimidated if another dog is overly pushy or tries to dominate her, but outside of that she is social, playful, and very happy around other animals. With new people, Marcy can sometimes give a little low growl at first. It is not aggression and she has never shown aggressive behavior. It is simply her way of saying she needs a moment to process and get comfortable. Once she settles in, her affectionate and goofy personality comes out quickly. She is basically an extroverted introvert. Marcy would be a great fit for someone looking for a dog that enjoys adventures and outdoor time but does not need constant stimulation to stay happy. She especially needs a family that understands that not every friendly dog is instantly social with strangers, and that giving a dog a few minutes to warm up is completely okay. Good fit: someone looking for a fun, outdoorsy companion that enjoys water, adventures, and relaxing equally. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. Story
Ellie is the perfect mix of sporty adventure buddy and goofy best friend! Estimated to be around 3 years old and weighing about 40 pounds, this Shepherd/Corgi mix may have the beautiful shepherd look, but her low-rider build and extra floofy corgi-style back end give her a signature style all her own. One look at her constant smile and happy grin, and you’ll see why everyone falls in love with her so quickly. Ellie is a social butterfly who believes there’s no such thing as too many friends. New doggies? Amazing. New people? Also amazing. She greets everyone with tail wags, enthusiasm, and her cheerful “let’s be buddies” attitude. She’s confident, outgoing, and always ready to join the fun. Whether she’s trotting around the neighborhood, making friends at the park, or showing off her adorable little legs in motion, Ellie brings joy and energy wherever she goes. She’s the kind of dog who can turn an ordinary day into a good time just by being part of it. If you’re looking for a happy, friendly pup with athletic spirit, endless charm, and a smile that never quits, Ellie is ready to be your new best friend! If you would like to adopt please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   ##2739411##

Story
Does this guy look familiar? This is Cody’s brother, Taz. In an interesting turn of events, the new owner of the pair didn’t have the time to take care of Taz so determined it was in his best interest to give him to Rescue. Taz is a super sweet and loving 1.5 y/o cowboy Corgi. He weighs approximately 26# and would like another friendly dog in his new home who doesn’t mind him being bossy at times or could be an only dog. Humans who aren’t gone long hours will be best as he is used to having someone around and wants to bond with his new person. Taz is potty trained but might lift his leg some in a new place. He’s recently neutered so that should diminish over time. Taz is a little too curious about cats and had not been tested with kids and is herdy so cats aren’t recommended and kids 12+. Taz is new to the leash but very treat motivated to learn. He sleeps in a dog bed at night. He can be hand shy in new situations and likes riding along on the atv with his foster dad. Taz loves to be outside running so the more space the better and requires a secure fenced in yard or farm and is not a good fit for an apartment situation. His humans should be ok with the bark of a Heeler, although he mostly uses it when he’s excited and not unnecessarily. If you are interested in meeting Taz the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home.  He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, chipped, and HW Negative. His adoption fee is $400 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.March 8, 2026, 9:08 am

Story
Cody is ready to find his forever home! Cody was found out on the plains of CO limping on 3 legs. A kind person contacted us to get him the medical care he needed. After an FHO and physical therapy, Cody is using his leg again, although there are still times when he reverts back since he likely used 3 legs for most of his life prior to surgery. Cody is a super sweet and loving 1.5 y/o cowboy Corgi. He weighs approximately 25# and will need another friendly dog in his new home and humans who aren’t gone long hours. Cody is potty trained and crate trained although he can have some excited urination when his person comes home. He is still in his puppy stage and learning about chewing on appropriate things so does require a certain amount of supervision and dog-safe chews like no hides and bully sticks. Cody has not been tested with cats or kids and although very sweet and even tempered, he can be herdy so cats aren’t recommended and kids 12+. Cody is good on the leash, treat motivated, and sleeps in a dog bed at night. He is shy in new situations and doesn’t love the car but is getting used to shorter trips to fun places. Cody requires a secure fenced in yard with room to run around, a moderately active family, and is not a good fit for an apartment situation. His humans should be ok with the bark of a Heeler, although he mostly uses it when he’s excited and not unnecessarily. Cody would benefit from a basic manners class to bond, learn, and gain confidence. If you’re interested in meeting Cody, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at  https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms  We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Cody is neutered, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $400 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado. March 8, 2026, 9:08 am
