Story
Graham arrived in Colorado on 3/22 He was roaming the streets of Texas with some other dogs but allowed our rescue team down there to grab him while the other dogs ran away. He has been living in a foster home before coming to Colorado where he already has learned the good life indoors. He loves dog beds, looking out the window and is learning to love human affection now. He’s a little bit shy at first, but has quickly warmed to his fosters. We are guessing he is some kind of maybe corgi or beagle mix, or maybe a dachshund. Either way he is a super sweet boy with cute little legs. He keeps up well on the leash and is very excited to explore the neighborhood. ALL POSO DOGS COME WITH: - TWO FREE ONE ON ONE DOG TRAINING SESSIONS - UP TO DATE ON SHOTS - SPAYED/NEUTERED - BLOODWORK/TICK DISEASE TESTING - DEWORMED/FECAL TESTING - WELLNESS CHECKS - LEASH, COLLAR, FOOD TO GET STARTED, TREATS AND TOYS IF THEY LIKE THEM - FI COLLAR SUBSCRIPTION - COUPONS TO LOCAL PET STORES

Story
Benjii, corgi/shepherd mix, 6 yo, 36 lb, male.Benji is cute,  smart, loyal, and has a great steady shepherd-like personality.  He gets deeply attached, although needs a little bit of time to get used to a new place. Would be better as the only dog and would bond closer with a female owner. Would be better with teenage kids. He is patient and great at following the routine. Was found as a stray.   Adoption fee: $300. If interested, please submit an adoption or foster application at https://www.sanNicolaDogRescue.com  January 17, 2025, 3:02 pm

Story
Zoomin Zula! This adorable short stack is a 8-9 month old, female, husky/corgi mix. She’s ready for any adventure you are willing to take her on, especially if it involves water. Zula is good with most dog friends, with a preference to those that will run and play with her. She’s house trained, crate trained, and very smart. Zula is affectionate and cuddly, too. Due to her unique breed mix, we are seeking an active home that enjoys working with dogs. She responds so well to training it seems a shame to waste it! Zula requires a feline free home. She doesn’t have the best leash skills, but she’s working hard on that while in foster care. Zula is in foster in Fort Collins, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/zula. You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.

Story
Dolly has survived quite a bit in her short life. She was picked up as a stray and never claimed in New Mexico. Within 24 hours of landing in CO, Dolly became lethargic, developed nausea, vomiting, and bloody diarrhea. She was rushed to the ER where it was confirmed that she had parvo. With the help of medical intervention, Dolly was able to fight off the parvovirus and has made a full recovery. She has some catching up to do with weight gain (she is currently 21#), but she is up to the challenge.   Dolly is a Corgi mix. We think with some terrier. Her age was originally thought to be about 2 years old, but the vet estimated her to be younger, probably closer to 1 y/o. Dolly is very playful and is enjoying her foster siblings. She is good with the dog savvy cats in her foster home. She has been tested with older children so kids 12+ may be considered. She is almost fully house trained and loves to zoom in and out the doggy door. Her new family will need to continue working with her on house training. She would love a yard where she can go out and sunbath and have another friendly dog she could play with. She is not a good fit for an apartment situation. Dolly is very affectionate and loves to cuddle with her humans. She would be very happy being able to hop up on the couch for naps and snuggles. Dolly can get a little jealous when it comes to her human, so being in a home with another dog who is more laid back about an insecure new dog would be best. Her new family needs to work with her to help her gain confidence and help reduce her anxiety so she won’t feel the need to resource guard. If you are interested in meeting Dolly, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Dolly is spayed, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. Her adoption fee is $400 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.March 18, 2025, 5:06 pm

Story
Tater Tot (or Tater, fka Trent) has instantly made himself comfortable in his foster home. He is a very smart Corgi mix approx 22# and knows some basic cues like sit and shake. Being about 1 year old, he still has that puppy energy and is constantly playing with toys or his foster sister. He's also a typical vocal Corgi, greeting all humans and dogs walking by the yard when he's outside, so he is not a good fit for an apartment situation and requires a fenced in yard. Tater is food motivated and loves his treats! He is learning how to take treats with a soft mouth. He is so excited he can't help himself! He is super sweet and enjoys snuggling with his foster parents on the couch. He sleeps in his kennel at night and appears to be mostly potty trained (He's had a couple of accidents, but he's also getting used to being in a new environment and routine). Tater would benefit from a patient and experienced owner who has the time to dedicate to his training and isn’t gone long hours. He is not kid or cat tested but a respectful child 12+ may be considered. If you’re interested in meeting Tater, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Tater is neutered, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $375 and we do not adopt outside Colorado.March 24, 2025, 10:58 pm
