Kitty gets along well with dogs. She lived with her foster mom and other dogs. One dog was sorting out and she was a bit aggressive, but Kitty wasn't aggressive at all. Kitty likes people. But it takes a while for her to get used to it. She's basically a quiet and cautious dog, as she's not a dog with high energy levels. Treat children like adults Her relationship with cat is similar to her current relationship with the dogs around her. She's basically a dog that understands sit, wait, no. She likes to walk a lot, but she's a bit stubborn, so she tends to just sit and stay if there's a spot she wants. There is a slight imbalance in the muscles on one side of the leg. I was diagnosed at the hospital, but the doctor said it was not enough to treat it yet. Her doctor said she may have had a nutritional imbalance when she was puppy.

Frodo is an older gentleman who is looking for a family of his own. He is a 10 year old Cardigan Welsh Corgi mix and he would much rather be at home lounging on the couch with you than sitting in a kennel at a shelter in Texas. Frodo is already neutered, heartworm negative, and up to date on his vaccines. He currently weighs about 27 pounds. Frodo appears to have a deformed tail and he will be having surgery to amputate most of it. He also has a grade 2 out of 6 heart murmur as well as some benign cysts on his skin. Frodo has now been rescued by NorthStar & will be making his way to NJ to find his forever home. Please contact Jaclyn (jacnbob@yahoo.com) for more information about this pet. AJ is part of a litter of 6. They were found in an abandoned house after the renters had been evicted. We were told by the landlord and neighbor that their mother was a corgi. They were born in January 2022.  AJ has the long corgi body and the short chunky legs but the coloring of a Doberman. She has a bouncy personality and loves to play. She's very smart and learns very quickly. She  does well with other dogs but does want to play and chase cats and chickens. Jasmine (born: 3/20/2012) is 10 years old and 22 pounds. We were told that her parents were a Collie and a Chihuahua, but we think she looks like a Corgi / Sheltie mix. We call Jasmine the Elizabeth Taylor of dogs, because she is like a glamorous, iconic, movie star – very discerning about who she makes friends with. If you are gentle and let her warm up to you, you will pass the test and Jasmine will absolutely adore you! Jasmine loves to be admired, brushed, being with you, she enjoys her walks and is housebroken. We really appreciate that you want to give a shelter animal a home.
