You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Wheezy was surrendered to the shelter when her owner became ill and could no longer care for her. At 8 years old the shelter must be quite a scary place. She is a corgi mix who is 16 pounds.  Wheezy was very happy to get out of the shelter with us and cuddled up for a nice ride home.  She is good with both dogs and cats. Wheezy is well behaved in the home and can be left home without being destructive. Best news of all - she is house broken. She is a great girl and looking for a second chance family of her own. Wheezy has recently been diagnosed with Cushing disease which is being treated with daily medication. Story

Rudy is the sweetest dog we've ever gotten to know. He is a 7 year old corgi mix who loves to give cuddles and love. Getting to know him these past 5 years has been wonderful and his personality has really shown through as a positive and loving friend. He's a silly boy that enjoys play time with his humans, but also loves to just with his family and enjoy their company. His demeanor is very peaceful, but as a rescue he has his anxiety as well. Rudy was bred as a hunting dog in the South and was found living on his own in the woods. The shelter that took him in was unfortunately a kill shelter and within a year of being there, his time was up. A shelter in New Jersey decided to bring him up to the tristate where he would have more of a chance to meet his adopters. I met him two weeks later and have had him ever since. Rudy will be the most uplifting member of any family, and we hope to find the best home that'll love him as much as he loves others.

Story

We got Toby from a family in Lancaster, PA, when he was 8 weeks old. Toby is now 9 years old. He has been an awesome companion for us until we had our baby almost +2 years ago (May 2021). Toby was fine when the baby was immobile, but once the baby started crawling and walking, Toby started showing aggression and growling whenever the baby was near him. We always made sure to either have the muzzle on Toby or keep his distance, but with the baby being more active than ever, it has come to a point where we can't monitor them 24/7. With adults, Toby is a great companion who will periodically seek attention and love. He is a very intelligent dog who knows multiple commands and he loves getting patted. He only requires two walks a day and usually only pees/poops outdoors. Due to his hostility toward the baby, we can no longer create an environment that Toby deserves. That is why we have ultimately made this difficult decision to rehome him.
