This is Booker! He is a labrador/Dachshund mix. He is 3 years old and a loving and fun dog. No rehoming fee! Booker is super sweet and a great family dog. He is a sh-medium size dog, only about 30 lb if that, and has the demeanor of both the lab and a dachshund. He is protective of his family and gives great cuddles. He walks well on leash after calming down. Good on walks with a stroller as well. Loves toys, food, and keeping someone company. Very food motivated and knows basic commands when rewarded with treats. Has lived with other cats and dogs all his life, but may be reactive until he gets used to other pets. Is protective of his family/women, but is fine with strangers after a proper/positive introduction. Is known to be a bit mischievous and is currently crated when owners are out of house. Needs to be let out 2-3 times a day.

Phoenix is a friendly, energetic dog looking for his forever home! We adopted him from a local pet rescue, and he’s proven to be an incredibly loving and playful companion, especially with children. He’s gentle with our young kids, loves to play, and brings so much joy to every interaction. However, Phoenix’s playful spirit is a bit too much for our small, older Pomeranian, who just isn’t up for the same level of enthusiasm. While he doesn’t hurt her, his size and energy can be overwhelming for smaller dogs like ours. We believe Phoenix would thrive in a home with either larger dogs or as a solo pet where he can be the center of attention. He’s well-behaved when we’re out and he’s already crate trained. We’ll include his carrier, leash, and harness with the adoption fee, making his transition into your home as smooth as possible. If you’re ready for a playful, loyal friend, Phoenix is waiting to meet you!
