Story
Meet Sammie - a small but mighty, independent boy! Saved from the E-List in December 2024, Sammie is currently living in a foster home where he is learning that he is safe. His foster reports that in the few months of having Sammie, he is making tremendous progress! Sammie would love to have a fellow dog in the home to continue teaching him the ropes. He thrives having another confident dog that he can look up to for direction and guidance on how to be a good boy. He keeps up during playtime with the bigger resident dog in the home, showing size doesn't define you! Sammie's love language is not physical touch. Instead, he prefers to just be hanging around you rather than curling up next to you on the couch to watch TV. Sammie would prefer an adult-only home where he can feel comfortable, respected and have the time he needs to build trust. If you're looking for an independent companion to just add a little joy in your life - Sammie is your guy!

Why I`d make a great companion: ~Hello my name is Copper and I weigh 21 lbs! ~I might be a bit shy at first, I promise I have a heart full of love just waiting to be discovered! ~Dedicated play and cuddle time makes a world of difference to me! ~My friends that took me on a field trip said that I am extremely sweet and love attention after I warm up and that I did fantastic on the leash. I also loved rolling around in the grass by the lake. ~My friends also gave me a pup cup (which I LOVED) and was very gentle taking it from them. Type of home I`m looking for: ~All children in my new home must be 8 years and older. ~I have a medical disclosure for allergies, corneal scarring, dry eye, arthritis and mass - removed. ~My adoption fee is $79

Mia is a sweet girl who was saved from a Kill shelter. She is in a foster home with a little girl and loves children. She also loves to be dressed up and dolled up. She is fixed has shots and microchip, ready for her furrever home. She can get along with other dogs with an intro. She would also be happy as the only dog and likes all the attention to herself in the home. She likes car rides and is calm in the car. She has a slight tremor , (chattering teeth) thats barely noticeable, from recovering from distemper at some point we believe, but needs no medical care and it's barely noticeable.

Story
Bailey and his brother Teddy belonged to my former husband who just passed away. Bailey is blonde with black markings on his face and ears. Teddy is solid black with a little bit of white on his chin. The two brothers have been raised together along with their mother. Bailey and Teddy are four years old and play well together. I think they would do better being adopted together. Early on, they were house dogs and were let out for multiple walks per day. As their owners Alzheimer’s progressed, they became yard dogs with a 10 x 10 utility building with heat and AC. We need to rehome them as soon as possible because I am unable to care for them as I am dealing with my own health issues. These two dogs love to chase a ball and can easily adapt to being indoor dogs again. They have a lot of love to give!

Story
Lilith is a calm, affectionate Bassett rescued years ago. We’re rehoming her due to our baby’s allergies. She bonds deeply with humans and enjoys leisurely walks. Good with other dogs and children; no experience with cats. Fully house/crate-trained. Has dental issues causing occasional bad breath, managed with dental bones and professional cleanings. Spayed but may need vaccine updates. Lilith needs a quiet home with a fenced yard. Shows mild resource guarding with food (no incidents) and may howl briefly (2-3 minutes) when first left alone. Perfect for seniors or families with children. She just needs someone patient to offer this sweet hound comfortable retirement years with gentle walks and warm cuddles. (Note: Photos are older. Same size but more gray fur now.)
