Meet Millie Meet Millie! Millie is an adorable 1-year-old, 7-pound Dachshund with the perfect “long and low” look, complete with extra-long, floppy ears that add to her charm. She’s a quirky, funny little girl who’s sure to steal your heart with her sweet, soulful eyes and unique personality. Millie came to us from a tough situation in the Central Valley, but she’s now safe and slowly learning to trust the world around her. While she’s still decompressing, we know she’ll make a full recovery with time, patience, and love. With the people she trusts, Millie is incredibly affectionate, snuggly, and eager to connect. She’s looking for a patient, understanding home that will give her the space and support she needs to blossom. Millie is smart, eager to please, and gaining confidence every day. With continued encouragement, she’s going to thrive and become an amazing companion. Millie currently lives with over a dozen dogs of all sizes and gets along wonderfully with them. She’s also cat-friendly and would do well with older, respectful children. Kipper is an absolute sweetheart! With his charming and handsome mix of Dachshund and Chihuahua (Chiweenie), plus his stunning eyes, (one blue and one brown) it’s hard not to fall for him. It’s wonderful that he’s playful and enjoys treats, especially carrots—those are great ways to bond and train him. He’s already leash trained. He does use a doggie door and is housetrained to it. Since he has a bond with his sister Kayla, it would be worth considering both of them, though they do not need to go together. He just needs a home that will be interactive with him. Kipper would like to bring so much joy and love to a household that can provide him with affection, structure, and playtime. If anyone is looking for a loving companion who is ready to learn and play that is Kipper. He is playful with other dogs but he loves to be in charge! Millie is an absolutely delightful pup! This beautiful (Dachshund/Chihuahua/Corgi mixed girl) will melt your heart! sweet Millie is two years old and weighs 13.4 pounds. Her smooth white coat is easy care. She is such a loving and affectionate companion, especially with her strong bond to Mae. She was abandoned here at the sanctuary with Mae who we believe is her daughter. Millie is an absolute love and wants to be in your lap. Millie is extremely bonded to Mae. Mae is more independent. Millie is possessive of your lap but will share nicely with Mae she enjoys toys and shows her sweet personality. She walks well on the leash. She is a climber and will hop right up on our desk and stroll across our half wall. So please have a securely fenced yard. Better yet she loves to be inside most of the time. She would be a good agility dog. She is spayed, microchip, and has her vaccinations.
