Story
Hello, my name is Kobe.  I'm a 2-year-old Chihuahua/Dachshund/Hound mix boy that would love a forever home with you.  My current weight is 26 pounds and I should fully grown.  I am good with children and other dogs. I enjoy playing with my siblings and romping around in the yard with my toys. I  am hoping to get a home soon because I am still a young dog and I have been waiting for my family to find me.  I was rescued off the street with my brother, and have been living with my foster who has other dogs for me to play with, so if you have dogs I will be happy to have new siblings. I am sweet and playful, and you won't regret bringing this face into your life.  You should know that just because I share a name with a famous basketball player, full disclosure - I cannot play basketball.  I mean, I like playing with balls but they are too big to fit in my little mouth.  The video is of me when I was just a baby and a new one of me grown up.If you rent a house you must provide proof with application that you are able to have a dog almost 30 lbs.Applications are available here on the website under ADOPTION.I will come to you neutered and fully vetted. Adoption fee: $475.00  ##1503700##

Story
Friendly and loving Bentley is ready to jump in the car and go on adventures with you. Though he is a tad shy at first, he is quick to warm up and is enjoying getting more walk time. He loves to sniff around, hunt.... and he LOVES to play an easy game of Fetch! This handsome little fellow will make for a loving and engaged companion. He is dog friendly out in the world, but is a better candidate as a solo dog in the home. He prefers center of the universe status, though with some parameters - he can't feel he is in charge, or owns the couch. Because he was not doing well in a kennel environment, he came up to our Sanctuary where he is having a blast! He needs a more predictable environment. He is possessive of couches and likely the bed, so he needs to have strict guidelines, strong leadership and controls in the home environment. Best to sleep in a crate, or his own private spot. But he really can be a most charming little man!

Story
Meet Black Jack (Blackie)❤️‍🔥🐾 Blackie is a long haired Dachshund mix (maybe Australian Shepherd). He is estimated to be about 7yrs old, 15lbs. Blackie was surrendered to the shelter by his elderly owners who were keeping him in the backyard because they were scared they would trip on him in the house. Blackie starts off by being shy and timid, but when he warms up Blackie is loving, gentle, and loves to be brushed. Matter of fact, Blackie thrives on the love and care that comes with brushing. Another way to win Blackie over is with treats, he loves them!! It will take a calm, quiet environment for Blackie to blossom into the sweet dog he is. Blackie would be great for a single person or family with older kids, who want a mellow companion. Blackie does not know how to walk on a leash and frankly once he trusts you and you become his person/people, Blackie will follow you anywhere. Blackie gets along with cats and mellow dogs.Blackie is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and up to date on his rabies vaccine. If you are interested in meeting Blackie, please fill out an application at www.broketailrescue.org, located under the contact tab.
