Toni (f) and Bennett (m) a lovely 9-month-old dachshund mix pair, 30-40# respectively, are not only incredibly sweet but also extraordinarily adaptable. They easily befriend dogs of all ages, whether big or small, and their gentle disposition ensures they’re a hit with everyone they meet. These two resilient souls were found in less than ideal circumstances. Today, they are looking forward to a bright future in a loving forever home! If you’re seeking a compassionate and adaptable duo to join your family, Toni and Bennett are the perfect match. *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*

**MARCH MUTT MADNESS ADOPTION SALE***  For the month of March, all mixed breed dogs have a reduced adoption fee! All adopt fees will be reduced by $100 from what is listed on our website. The time is now to bring home your new furry family member!!  Meet Buster, a sweet senior gentleman who is 10 years young and still has lots of life left in his little 17 lb body! Buster is neutered, medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. He is good with other dogs and people/kids.  He has not been cat tested, but we feel he would likely be fine with cats. Buster loves going for walks and then snuggling up for a nap afterwards. He's also a big fan of electric blankets! If you are looking for a low maintenance senior doggo who is just looking for a safe and comfy place to land, Buster just might be the perfect match for you! He's located in CT in a loving foster home.  ##1960732##

Story
JR is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so he is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home. We think that JR is a Dachshund/Rat terrier mix. He is around 1 year of age and weighs 17 pounds. JR is a good boy, he is very sweet, loving, and affectionate to his human. He loves to cuddle and get pets. JR should either be an only dog or paired with a female. He will play with other dogs but does best with females. He does not do well with unaltered males. JR is crate-trained. He sleeps in a crate at night and is crated when his foster has to leave the house. JR is not completely house-trained and he will wear a male wrap - although he sometimes gets it off - normally with the help of one of the other dogs. He is still young and needs general obedience training. He is trainable, learns quickly, and is well-behaved in the house. JR must be in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash and would like a secure, fenced yard to run and play. JR is healthy. He is neutered, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. He is negative for heartworms and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. JR's adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport to Danbury, Glastonbury, or Union CT. He is located in Texas and cannot be transported until after he is adopted. Please send an email to 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting this adorable little guy. Story
Welcome Daisey to CCPAL foster program. She is an 8-year-old Dachshund/Corgi is our best guess. She has a longer body and upright ears. She is a scenting breed for sure. She is active and social and not the couch potato dog. She weighs 25 pounds. She is good with a dog smaller and a dog larger. The larger dog is a pit Bull and she does good with that more dominant dog as well. She is around children and is a great dog for a family with kiddos. She has a 5 year old and a baby in her home. This family has found they have to move into a rental house. The rental house will only allow 2 dogs. They are sad but there is no other option. Pit Bulls are tougher to rehome so she is rehoming her favorite dog. She was crying telling this story. Daisey is potty trained, good on a leash, good in a car, good with other dogs, kids and strangers. She will need a fenced yard or walked on a leash. She can catch a scent and wonder off. She has a nice sturdy body and will make a great companion for an active family or active senior. She can be an only dog or go with another dog. This dog has a lot of good years in front of her and is by no means an old acting dog. She is in good health, vaccinated, spayed and ready for her forever home. She is a shedding dog but only moderately. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to help get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See her cute video.
