I came to rescue from a crowded shelter where I was running out of time, but thankfully I got my second chance — and now I’m hoping my forever family is next! I really just enjoy being part of the fun and close to my people. I also get along with other dogs and currently share my kennel area with two other male dogs. Rock came to us from a partnered shelter where he was sadly at risk of euthanasia due to lack of space—but thankfully, he got the chance he deserved. Born around June 13, 2025, Rock is a terrier/dachshund mix with an adorable long body and a soft, submissive personality. He’s a friendly, easygoing pup who gets along with everyone he meets, making him a great fit for many types of homes. Rock would truly love a family of his own where he can feel safe and loved. He LOEVS his toy time with friends in the play yard. Rock did test positive for anaplasmosis (a tick-borne infection) and is currently undergoing treatment with doxycycline. This is a common and treatable condition, and he’s expected to do well with proper care.
