Meet Rocky, a super cute 3-4 year old neutered male dachshund mix! This little guy weighs about 14 lbs, but he packs a lot of personality into his small size! Rocky is a happy, friendly boy who gets along well with other dogs, cats, people, and kids (older kids 8+ recommended, as he is an energetic little guy and may unintentionally knock over a small child). From Rocky's current foster: "Rocky is a happy, wiggly snugglebug who loves everyone he meets. He is fully potty trained and crate trained, and he settles nicely once he has had a little playtime. Rocky enjoys toys and playing with other dogs, and he has been respectful of cats in the home. Because he is such a playful guy, he would likely do best with older kids who can match his energy. If you are looking for a fun buddy who doubles as a couch cuddler, Rocky is your guy!" Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. This sweet, young boy was found running the streets on his own. He had no collar and no microchip and no owner ever came forward to claim him. He is very friendly and very smart and only 13 pounds. We think he is close to a year old. He loves other dogs, cats kids, horses… He never meets a stranger. He will make a great addition to any family and would really love to have another playful fun dog around. Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders. This girl was brought in with babies when her owner couldn't take care of her. She was not socialized very well so will need some work. She will need a very patient person to get her to come out of her shell. She was kept outside so she has no house manners, nor has she been with cats. She does do well with dogs her size and seems to like to play with them. She deserves a new chance to be a loved dog and companion. She will take a lot of time and investment but deserves a chance!

Paige was surrendered to us by a woman after she had been abandoned at her house for a year by a sibling. She has been an outside dog and is learning to be housed trained. She has been introduced to numerous dogs at her foster family and has had no trouble adjusting. Her favorite activity is sleeping… either in your lap, or on the back of the couch. When it’s time to go outside… she spins in circles with excitement then quickly runs outside to explore and sniff everything. She has excellent recall and comes back quickly when called if not on a leash. She is happiest when her person is near.
