This guy was found in the bottom of a DUMPSTER…. Luckily he knew how to bark so someone noticed him.. Introducing DexterIf you’re looking for a fun-sized adventure buddy, Dexter is your guy! This adorable 1-year-old dachshund mix weighs just 19 pounds and has the cutest oversized ears that make him impossible to resist. Dexter loves to play with other dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine friend to romp around with.  He’s a happy, playful boy who enjoys being part of the action and bringing smiles wherever he goes. Dexter has also been fostered with cats and done great with them too!  While he’s a wonderful companion, Dexter is not the best fit for apartment living, as he can be vocal in his crate during transitions. His best home will appreciate his personality and give him time to settle in. 1 year old/19 lbs Dachshund mix Loves other dogs Playful and fun Cat tested+ Fostered with cats Big adorable ears Not ideal for apartment living Neutered, Vaccinated, Microchipped fostered locally!!!! Story
Molly is a very loving 8 year old dachshund/chihuahua/terrier mix. She enjoys relaxing at home in the sun or going for long hikes. She is somewhat quirky and is sometimes hesitant about new people, but loves them once she gets to know them. She is very food motivated and knows a few fun tricks such as whisper, crawl, and fist bumping! Molly has a lot of energy for an older dog, but is content lounging in the sun for long periods of time or relaxing on a porch. She is a capable hiker and enjoys long walks. Molly is house trained and is left uncrated at home when alone without issue. She is a bit of an anxious dog and is prone to shaking when nervous. She does not like thunder or fireworks. She does take a daily dose of medication to help her anxiety. That medication plus training has helped her become less reactive. Besides her anxiety, she has no other health conditions. We're looking to rehome her as Molly is not a fan of our new baby and it's causing us and her too much stress.

Story
DOB 12-7-2024 Wolfie is a gorgeous Red and White Long Hair! This beautiful boy loves everyone, likes to play with toys and his friends. He is neutered, heartworm negative and has received a Proheart6 preventative injection, up to date on shots and is now looking for a loving home. His adoption fee is 900.00 and his transport fee is 135.00. HEARTS is our transport, they run every 2 weeks. It's the best transport and the only one we will use. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.
