Story
Meet Tilly! Hi, my name is Tilly, and I’m a fluffy, lovable dachshund–Chihuahua mix! I was born on January 8th, and I have five siblings—there were six of us in total. I’m a sweet little puppy who would love to become part of your family. If you’re looking for a soft, curly & playful puppy that loves to be held, please consider adopting me and giving me my forever home! I will be coming with:     •    All age-appropriate vaccinations     •    A microchip     •    Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention Because I’m still very small and don’t weigh enough to be safely altered yet, I will be adopted with a spay/neuter contract. If you’re interested in adopting me, please fill out an application at coaldr.org If you’d like more information or have any questions, please email Christine@coaldr.org. Tilly is located in Massachusetts but will be available for adoption throughout New England. Adoption fee: $650 I can’t wait to meet my forever family!

Story
Meet Chico Benito]! Warning: Chico Benito may cause instant attachment. Big ears. Big Heart. Ready to belong. The Basics:• Gender: Male, Age: 4-6 months• Weight: 9.1 lbs• Breed: Dachshund Mix• Location: San Antonio• Neutered, yes Personality:Chico Benito is the ultimate cuddle bug who just wants to be close to his person. He’ll happily follow you everywhere—even to the bathroom—because being near you is his favorite place to be. With his adorable little bunny hops and a name that means “little blessed,” he truly lives up to it. Ideal Home:• He is great with dogs. He is being fostered with 2 pitbulls and another small dog and he cuddles right in the middle of all the action! He plays with any dog that wants to play back with him• Good with cats: He hasn’t met any cats, but I think he would get along with them.• Good with kids: I think he would be good with kids, too. • Energy level: Though young and playful, he also likes naps! He will nap on your lap next to you in the bed or while on your lap while you are working on a computer• Best home: He is currently in an apartment and is still working on the learning how to go for a full walk on a leash. He does well while learning how to go potty outside. Training & Skills:• Potty trained: Working on it! • Crate trained: Yes and No. I will leave him in the crate for meals, timeouts and when I have to leave for long periods, but he is not the biggest fan.• Knows: Yes = Good and No = Bad The Extra Good Stuff:Chico Benito is a happy, easygoing pup who’s as adorable as they come. He quickly wins you over and just wants to be part of someone’s life. If you’re looking for a loyal little sidekick, he’s your guy. Good to Know:He loves his person so much he wants to steal their clothes. He learned about chewing electrical cords the hard way. Oops! He has a cherry eye. Nothing too big and vet techs say they can have a surgery to stitch it in his eye if it bothers you/him. Transport available   ##2707005##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Handsome Simba (II) is 4 years old, Neutered, Up to Date on Core Vaccines and Microchipped. He is loyal, expressive and forms a strong bond with his people. He enjoys, short walks, fetch, squeaky toys and snuggles.  Simba is looking for a calm, adult-only home where he can relax and feel secure, an adopter where his boundaries can be respected and his confidence can grow at his own pace.  He will need an adopter who is willing to go slow, read his cues and help him feel safe.  With patience, understanding Simba will soon become one of the best dogs you have ever had the pleasure to share your home and heart.  A companion pup is ideal to help him build confidence.  He is being fostered with other pups and thriving. Story
Linus is a sweet, cuddly dachshund born in 2018 who absolutely loves being close to his people. His favorite things include going for walks, soaking up the sun, snuggling on the couch, and burrowing under cozy blankets. He’s also a loyal little protector who likes to keep an eye on the house and let you know when someone’s nearby. As much as we love him, our growing family (with a toddler and another baby on the way) has made it difficult to give Linus the environment he truly needs. He can feel anxious around a busy toddler, and we don’t feel it’s fair for him to spend so much time separated from the family. We are looking for a loving home where Linus can feel safe, relaxed, and get all the cuddles and attention he deserves — ideally a calmer environment without young children and other dogs. This is not an easy decision for us, and we want to make sure Linus finds the perfect match. If you or someone you know could give him a wonderful home, please reach out ❤️
