This sweet dachshund mix knows exactly what she wants in life: a cozy place to snooze, someone to spoil her rotten, and a home where she can be the one and only queen of the castle. That`s right, no other pets or kiddos for this little diva!Toast recently underwent a full-mouth dental and spay, during which several mammary masses were removed. Unfortunately, one of those masses came back malignant, and we are now looking for a very special hospice home for our girl. But don`t let that word scare you away! Toast certainly hasn`t gotten the memo that she`s sick. She`s still full of spunk, personality, and plenty of zest for life!Hospice adoption isn`t about counting the days left; it`s about making every day count. There is something incredibly special about opening your heart and home to a senior pet who may not have forever to give, but still has so much love left to share. Whether Toast has months or longer, she deserves to spend that time being cherished, spoiled, and loved beyond measure.We know hospice adoption isn`t for everyone, but for the right person, it can be one of the most rewarding experiences imaginable. DOB 12-7-2024 Wolfie is a gorgeous Red and White Long Hair! This beautiful boy loves everyone, likes to play with toys and his friends. He is neutered, heartworm negative and has received a Proheart6 preventative injection, up to date on shots and is now looking for a loving home. His adoption fee is 900.00 and his transport fee is 165.00. HEARTS is our transport, they run every 2 weeks. It's the best transport and the only one we will use. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Meet Gracie, an adorable 7-month-old Dachshund/Wirehaired Terrier mix with a heart full of love! Gracie was born right here in Massachusetts to a rescue mama who came from the South. She was adopted at just 8 weeks old and has known nothing but love since the day she was born. Through no fault of her own, Gracie now finds herself looking for a new family due to unfortunate changes in her family's circumstances. Gracie is a sweet girl who loves to cuddle and be close to her people. She's at that fun puppy age where she's curious about the world, eager to learn, and ready to become someone's very best friend.
