Born from a graceful Doberman Pinscher mama and a very determined Dachshund dad, Lindsey is what happens when elegance meets “I said what I said.” She doesn’t just walk into a room… She arrives. If dogs wore fake eyelashes, Lindsey would have a full glam set on, strutting in black leather like she just left a fashion show and a security briefing at the same time. Titles she answers to: • Princess • Head of Security (Fashion Division) • The Cat’s Meow (self-declared, non-negotiable) Personality: Dainty… but will absolutely throw down if needed Sweet… until you question her authority Cute… and fully aware of it Daily routine: • Wake up flawless • Patrol the house like it’s a runway • Judge everyone silently • Provide elite-level security from ankle height • Demand cuddles like royalty collecting taxes Special skills: ✔️ Looking adorable while being slightly intimidating ✔️ Standing her ground despite being… low to the ground ✔️ Making you feel like you live in her house Build: A delicate little frame with just enough “don’t mess with me” installed. Training status: Knows she’s the boss. Working on letting you believe you are. Ideal home: Someone who: – Appreciates a tiny diva with a security complex – Doesn’t mind being supervised… constantly – Is ready to serve a princess who also moonlights as a guard dog Adopt Lindsey and receive: A best friend A fashion icon A pint-sized protector with big “don’t test me” energy Warning: may strut, judge, protect, and steal your heart—all before breakfast. Lindsey: beauty, bravery, and just a little bit bossy. www.uniteddobermanrescue.org  Click here to watch a video of Lindsey-Adoption Pending.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.United Doberman Rescue Adoption Process Application Submission: Complete the adoption application thoroughly. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Baby Beckham! The Low-Rider, Bootleg Security Sausages, all of 3 months old! Somehow, against all odds (and basic geometry), a Doberman Pinscher (Their momma) and a very determined Dachshund (Their daddy!) got together and said, “Let’s make something confusing.” And here we are. Introducing Beckham!  What we ended up with: • The confidence of a 90-pound guard dog in a little dog body • The body of a stretched-out potato with tiny legs • The decision-making skills of a raccoon at 2am Think of the possibilities! ✔️ Bark at danger (and also wind, grass, and their own reflection) ✔️ Attempt to intimidate strangers while tripping over their own feet ✔️ Follow you everywhere like a weird little security noodle ✔️ Act like they pay rent Physically? Imagine someone started building a Doberman and ran out of materials halfway through, so they just… kept going horizontally. Emotionally?  Dramatic. Deeply committed to chaos. Confidence level: Thinks he’s a police K9. Trips over his own feet mid-patrol. Ideal home: Someone who understands that “personal space” is now a historical Someone who appreciates: – Surprise zoomies – Being followed to the bathroom – A dog who will protect you from absolutely nothing, very bravely Bonus features: – Built-in alarm system (goes off randomly) – Lap dog software installed in a not-quite-lap-sized body – 0% fear, 100% nonsense Adopt this long-bodied legends and experience: Love. Loyalty. Confusion.  An unintentional, designer Dober-Dox. Think of the possibilities, a Doberman mindset in a tiny body. Some of us Doberman people DREAM of this size Doberman:) Side effects may include laughing daily, being judged constantly, and explaining to every single person you know “Yes… we know… we don’t know how this happened either.”  www.uniteddobermanrescue.org  Click here to watch a video of Beckham Adoption Pending!.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.United Doberman Rescue Adoption Process Application Submission: Complete the adoption application thoroughly. Story
Welcome Mutz to CCPAL Rescue. Mutz is a 3-year-old Daug (Dachshund /Pug). He weighs about 12 pounds and is full grown and a nice weight. This dog came from the hoarder or overabundance of dog situation. He has an adorable underbit and has really blossomed at the Rescue. He is a quieter dog and has learned to like to be held. He is definitely a lap companion. He is playful with other dogs and has the sturdy body of the Pug. He would love to be a companion for a person that is retired, partially retired or maybe someone with a household that wants a dog with a lower energy to join in. He would be ok with a smaller condo size yard. He is learning leash manners and getting used to commotion of the Rescue. He hasn’t experienced a lot of different things so he isn’t sure yet but he is really really nice. He is not a big shedding dog. He is fine with nail trims and baths and will make some lucky family a great companion. I would say anyone moderately active would be fine for this dog. He bonds deeply and he warms up with affection nicely. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is getting vaccinations, neutered and he will be ready for his forever home soon. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Name:  Bella Rae Age:  8 years Gender: Female Breed:  Dachshund / Terrier Mix Weight: 32lbs Dog friendly:  Yes Cat friendly:  Yes Child friendly:  Yes, calm children ages 8+ House trained:  Yes Crate trained:  No, does not use crate, not needed Energy level:  Low Temperament:  Timid, Cautious, Sweet Requirement: Not apartment appropriate Adoption Fee: $275+tax To adopt, go to: www.mendingspirits.org/apply-to-adopt.html From the Foster Family: Bella is an incredibly sweet and gentle 8‑year‑old Dachshund mix who thrives in a calm, steady environment with someone who can give her the companionship she’s used to. She bonds deeply with her person and prefers to spend her days nearby—often lounging on the couch or resting in her bed within sight. Bella adjusts slowly in new places and may need a day or two to feel safe, but once she does, her affectionate, easygoing personality shines. She enjoys other dogs, does wonderfully with cats, and has always been gentle around children, though a quieter home suits her best. Bella loves car rides, walks beautifully on a leash, and would make a wonderful office companion or stay‑at‑home sidekick. She is currently overweight and will benefit from consistent walks, a healthier routine, and someone who can help her transition away from table food. Bella does fine when left alone for short periods, but she is happiest when her person is close and her world feels predictable and secure. From Bella Rae: Hi, I’m Bella Rae. I’m a soft‑hearted girl who loves being near my human and feeling like part of your day. I may hide under a bed or table at first, but once I know I’m safe, I’ll follow you around like your little shadow. I’m not much of a lap dog, but I love being close curled up on the couch or snoozing in my favorite spot while you work or relax. I adore car rides, enjoy gentle play with other dogs, and I’m very proud of how nicely I walk on a leash. I’ve lived with cats and think they make great friends. Loud noises, big changes, and thunderstorms can be scary for me, so I’m hoping for a peaceful home with someone patient and loving. If you’re looking for a loyal, tender‑hearted companion who just wants to be near you and share a calm, cozy life, I would love to be your girl.May 27, 2026, 6:33 pm

Story
Meet Lucita! Or as her fosters call her Lucy/Lucy Lou/Potato  Lucita made the trip to Minnesota from Mexico in March 2026 after being found with milk but no puppies. At 3 years old, Lucita is a sturdy 27 lb "daschund mix" who prefers to spin through life- she's fully capable of walking straight she just prefers to spin. The more comfortable and relaxed she is the less she spins. Speaking of preferences- Lucita prefers humans over other animal companions. In her foster home she peacefully co-exists with 2 dogs and 3 cats- she would be fine joining a household with other animals but is unlikely to be a playmate. She tends to go into "mommy mode" and be the fun police when other dogs are playing. Another quirk of Lucitas is her underbite- because of the way her teeth lined up it was necessary to remove 17 teeth. She is still able to eat kibble and treats now that she is fully healed- though she does love wet food...or really all food..she's not picky!  Lucita is perfectly content to curl up on the couch with you or in your bed but she will also accompany you on walks. She is semi-potty trained- as long as you stick to a routine accidents are minimal, though with focused attention she can definitely be fully potty trained. She quiets down in her kennel and rides well in a car. Lucita excels at telling you when you aren't giving her enough attention- she will stare at you and give a little whine. When playtime hits she can get a little spunky and will do adorable hops and pounce on toys- she can get a little mouthy so older children are recommended although with no teeth in front now she mainly gums you.   Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:  $450.00Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 28, 2026, 7:50 am
