Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. My name is Jason aka Noah, as in the father of all mankind:) I have been through alot in my life, I started out in a horrible hoarding situation with my sisters, brothers, uncles and mother. I knew in my heart of hearts that there is a much better world out there. And there is!! I was saved with about 88 dogs and pups, the ladies who drive out to save all of us are absolute saints.... So, back to my origin story, I had an unbelievable hernia out my back end that made my life hell...so the ladies git me to the rescue and 3 SURGERIES later, I am living a normal life 😀 I am a sweet boy, but having come from the situation i did, i am not a cuddle bug. I will hang out with you, just next to your chair. My life has come full circle and I am finally ready to find thst forever home who will love me until the end of time. I am waiting!!! Hello, my name is Lola! I am a sweet boxer/ dachshund mix. I am approx. 3 years old and weigh about 25-30 lbs. I am very good with kids of all ages and has never met a stranger. I like other non- reactive dogs. I have not met a cat at this time. However, my rescue can cat test upon request! I am also housebroken but cannot be left out of my crate when no one is home because I will chew anything and everything in sight. I am currently eating Purina one but I also love boiled chicken, peas, or sweet potatoes. I do pull on my leash when walked, but, we are working on that. I cant wait to find my forever home! If you have a fenced in yard, that would be awesome because I need a lot of play time! I also love to play with toys! My rescue has made sure that I am UTD, microchipped, on a flea and tick and heartworm pill and spayed. Please reach out if you are interested. Thank you! Riley is a sweet girl! She is a 10 year old, 20 pound chihuahua mix. She came to Charming Pet Rescue after her human passed away. She arrived at the rescue with her two sisters, one brother and two cats.After losing her human, Riley is still getting used to her new environment. Riley is just now allowing for you to pet her. Riley will need time for you to gain her trust but she is making progress every day. Riley enjoys naps on the couch and rolling around outside in the grass. She is working on losing a few pounds. While her foster sisters and brother run around, she enjoys walking a few laps in the backyard following her foster mom.Riley is house trained and sleeps in her crate. She gets along well with the three dogs in the foster home. He loves laying in the sun, going on walks, treats & toys and being under the covers.    Walter needs a fully fenced yard as he can be quite the escape artist. He likes to run for short bursts in the yard and find smells to roll in.  Walter gets along with his two resident dogs, but is still learning polite greetings with new dogs.   Walter is very curious, and needs someone who can be patient and reassure him. He is still working on leash training and is currently demonstrating some reactivity with other dogs. Based on the fosters observations we beleive that Walter may be hard of hearing.   Walter is left home with the resident dogs for a few hours at a time. He is known to be a snoop and counter surfer, so he is put in a room with our resident dog. He will settle when left with a doggy friend.    Walter picks up on patterns and routines quickly. He is not a quiet boy and will express his needs.   At this time, we do not how Walter does with kids or cats. Walter tends to be curious, cautious and skittish around new animals and meeting people outside the home.    Currently we are working on basic obedience and leash etiquette. Walter seems to have some reduced hearing and vision. We suspect it's genetic/congenital. He does not seem to be in any pain from it and we are working with MARS Vet to keep tabs on it.
