Noah’s a 4yo 16lb Doxie mix. He’s dog, cat and kid friendly. He’s house, pee pad and crate trained. He’s good in a secure fenced in yard and/or going on harness leashed walks. He’s very friendly, happy, has tons of energy, loves to play fetch, loves to go for walks and is always looking for people or dogs to play with. He spends so much time home alone and in a crate before coming to Tiny Paws that he is thriving human attention and wants to be with his person all the time so also needs them to be outside with him. This could change as he acclimates and realizes he will not be left alone all day. His foster mom shared: He came from a situation when he had to be surrendered because his mom was older and could not take care of him. He had to be in a crate for long periods of time, so crate only when necessary. Noah loves to walk and run and play with every human, kid, and dog in the neighborhood. He is incredibly smart. He knows where his foster mom’s house is and where all his new friends in the neighborhood live and he wants to go see them every day. He is the most loving, friendliest and sweet pup in the world. Noah’s foster requires an active home with a secure fenced in yard (he needs his people to be out with him) and/or be taken on daily walks and very little time in a crate if at all along with leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Noah as all dogs should have at least 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. Noah’s neutered, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped. Hi! My name is Hank and I am looking for a forever home. I was picked up by animal control and taken to a scary place called a shelter where, after my hold time was up and no one came to claim me, I was in danger of being placed on the euthanization list. Fortunately for me, a small local rescue saw me and contacted BCAA to see if they could help and they said yes! I appear to be a dachshund mix, maybe mixed with a little chihuahua and that is known as a chi-weenie. I'm around 2 years old so I'm past all of the puppy foolishness stage, and at just a little under 17lbs, I'm not too small and not too big ... I'm just right! When I first got into foster I was still reeling from all of the changes in my life so I was pretty scared; however, it didn't take me long to figure out my foster parents could be trusted and now I love getting attention from them (those treats helped, too!). I have gotten along with most all of the other dogs I have met (except for one bossy guy), and I haven't bothered those things called cats I have encountered. I have also done really well in my crate without any accidents or tearing up of any bedding, but I would really prefer to be out with you and will sometimes remind you not to forget about me if I see or hear you. Darling duo Lexie and Pepper Jack are 3-year old minis, 10 and 9 pounds, looking for their forever home together! Full of major doxie personality, they came to rescue from an at-home breeder, having had much more contact with people than most releases. Both adore their humans, want to be close as can be a good part of every day. Lexie is shy at first, warms up fairly quickly. Pepper Jack is very timid, needs time, patience to feel comfortable. (He hides when a visitor enters his foster home.) Both are energetic youngsters, good with other small dogs, love to play with one another and others; enjoy running in a fenced yard, which they must have. They are not a match for shared-wall living.
