Hi guys, it’s me Silkie. I’m still here with my foster family and not too sure why cause I’m a super cool pup. I’ve grown up a lot and have learned so much since my last check in. But don’t worry still have plenty of puppy energy. I am good with my potty training, love taking long walks and love to sit and give paw. I also do really well in my cage, I know it’s my safe place; that’s where I eat and sleep two of my favorite activities. Oh and I still have my long body, stubby legs and my infamous lobster claw. Still doesn’t stop me from zooming around. I also have been spayed and fully recovered! While I have enjoyed my time at my foster home, I would love a place to call my own! Will you consider bringing me into your family?

Silkie and her siblings were found in a plastic tub behind the local Chick FIllet as tiny puppies. Do you have any idea how hard it is to be startiing and scared when there are those yummy smells keep wafting past you but your stuck in an inescapable plastic tub? Lucky for my soon to be forever family that we all got found and got yummy treats and a warm place to stay. I love my foster home, so don't get me wrong, I'm super excited to find my forever home. I really can't wait to get my real name so I don't always feel like a chilcken. I'm doing well with my house manners and training. I'm working hard on cuddling practice and being a most entertaining and fun girl so that when you see me, you will want to spend the forever with me.

Hi friends, my name is Silkie! I’m some kind of retriever mix but my mom thinks maybe I have some dachshund, maybe some pit in me. But I’m 100% sweetness. I’ve been growing so much since I’ve been here in PA. I have this long body, stubby legs and a special paw, everyone calls my “lobster claw” (paw with only 3 toes rather than 4) but that doesn’t stop me from keeping up with my foster (fur) siblings around the yard. I’m your typical puppy- working on my house training (I’m getting much better with that), sleeping well in my cage by myself all night, and working on basic commands. Having treats definitely helps! After I’m done running out all puppy energy, I love cuddling up on the couch. No place like a nice, warm blanket and my humans lap.
I’ve gotten to experience so many things too since being in my foster home- other dogs, kids, adults, walks and plenty of toys. I love them all!
All I need now is a place to call my own!

Bok-Bok Friends! My name is Silkie Of The Chicken Pups (It's Complicated!) . I Will Be Ready For Adoption As Soon As I Am Eight Weeks Old. I am a three pound Mixed Breed girl pup who will most likely be a Medium To Large dog when grown. I am looking for A Loving Home With Patience To Help Me Become The Beautiful Soul I Am Meant To Be. I am being fostered in a home with Children and I Don't Know About Animals Yet, But Kids, I just love them! I enjoy Snuggles And Playing With My Toys. My most favorite thing in the world is Anything I Can Find To Carry Around In My Mouth. I find things and I’m gonna show you! My crate skills are Progressing. My potty habits are A Work In Progress. My foster family thinks I`m The Best Thing Since Chicken Nuggets. Now, I'm Cute And Cuddly But Remember, I'm A Puppy So I'm Still Learning. I will be ready for adoption soon. I`ve been vetted as age appropriate and know that my new home will take great care of me. If you want to be my Lifetime Commitment, visit www.wagsrescue.com and complete an application.
