Story
McDreamy is a beautiful wirehaired dachshund mix who we were told is about 8-10 months old. He was an owner surrender through no fault of his own. People in Oklahoma get pets just for the heck of it and then rehome them when they longer want to have a pet. He is great with other dogs and with cats and weighs 13 lbs. He is a sweetheart and will make a great little companion. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue/reviews Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Seattle/Tacoma) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Illinois (Vandalia) - Indiana (Spiceland) - Ohio (Columbus) - Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) Vetting: neutered, heartworm tested (negative), on monthly heartworm prevention, on monthly flea and tick prevention, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 2, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed. Adoption fee: $550 (includes the $250 cost of transport from Oklahoma) Adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/82677586784176 Desiderata Rescue is Oklahoma Licensed Rescue #95

Story
Cindy Lou who!? This Cindy Lou, thats who! A polka-dotted, blue-eyed cutie, with a playful personality and an adoring demeanor. The moment we met her it was obvious what a wonderful personality she has, the good looks are a bonus. Take a look at her cuteness in action then come back to read more. In rescue breed and age are details we cannot guarantee but we estimate Cindy Lou to be 2 years old, possibly a chihuahua mix, and weighs 25 lbs which is her full grown size. What a perfect size! We introduced Cindy Lou to a variety of dogs and she was friendly and playful with them all, from small to large. Cindy Lou absolutely adores people and is friendly from the start. She would do great in a home with other dogs but could also very easily be happy as an only-dog. Feline friends are not in Cindy Lous future though, she isn’t much bigger than a cat but her attempt at meeting our house cat wasn’t welcomed. No cat manners here. That is okay though! She can be your cat/dog and promises plenty of lap-naps. Thanks to her size and personality, Cindy Lou would make a great apartment/condo girlie. Of course if you have a yard, she is ready to explore it! An ideal home looks like a lot of things- she is ready to fit right in! If you have any questions about Cindy Lou or would like us to test her for a specific setting or detail, please be in touch! We can make most anything happen to ensure she is the correct fit for you and your life! Please email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Chef Barbie is an adorable little baby ready for a family! She is estimated to be 9 weeks old and about 7 lbs now. She is a rescue so we truly don’t know her breed. We are guessing dachshund mixed with beagle maybe, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves his/her life as well as the life of another in its place. See her personality here: https://youtu.be/aM0OoEGtuWU Chef Barbie is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. She gives gentle kisses, has a very soft coat, and likes to be in your lap. She and her siblings love to play with toys and enjoy the sunshine. She is fostered with several other dogs and cats. She loves to play with her siblings and take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat- such is puppy life! Chef Barbie is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: -30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) -A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) -One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan -70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan -Coupons for a fun visit to Petco  -Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
