Story
Adoption Fee $75. Hammer is the sweetest girl with such a lovely personality! She is a parvo survivor and gave us a few scares but she was able to pull through and is now a happy healthy girl! She will pretty much eat anything you put infront of her she is not picky at all! She is great with all people, dogs and kids. We have not cat tested her but we can on request. Hammer is such a love bug and she loves her people and cuddling up. She is a smart girl that we have had since she was born and now 7 months old! Her mom came to us pregnant and her mom was a Bull Terrier, we have no idea who dad was. She is wondering when she will finally find her forever home. She can get a little territorial over her food and toys but nothing to be concerned much about its nothing severe. She loves to play with other dogs shes not the most gentle but we also wouldnt consider her as a rough player either just right in the middle! She will pretty much play with any toy that you give her she doesn't care if it's a hard toy, more of a bone like toy, or a stuffy. She loves them all! Overall, Hammer is an amazing puppy that will be that perfect medium size. Not too big, not too little! Story
McDreamy is a beautiful wirehaired dachshund mix who we were told is about 8-10 months old. He was an owner surrender through no fault of his own. People in Oklahoma get pets just for the heck of it and then rehome them when they longer want to have a pet. He is great with other dogs and with cats and weighs 13 lbs. He is a sweetheart and will make a great little companion. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue/reviews Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Seattle/Tacoma) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Illinois (Vandalia) - Indiana (Spiceland) - Ohio (Columbus) - Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) Vetting: neutered, heartworm tested (negative), on monthly heartworm prevention, on monthly flea and tick prevention, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 2, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed. Adoption fee: $550 (includes the $250 cost of transport from Oklahoma) Adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/82677586784176 Desiderata Rescue is Oklahoma Licensed Rescue #95

Story
Obi is a long haired Dachshund mix. He's 8 years young and about 25 lbs. He's a very sweet boy that is looking for a quiet home without cats or small animals. He was raised with children and is fine with them. Ideally, Obi would enjoy another dog and a person to love in a calm environment. Obi is housetrained, good on a leash, and loves to go for walks. He has lived the last seven years with a family who is now working full time and they didn't feel it was fair to him to be alone all day. Obi needs to be with his people. He cries when left alone. Obi was not crate trained properly, and he does not do well in one.Obie is a very sweet boy, and deserves a second chance! No apartments please. He barks like a dachshund! He is neutered and vaccinated. He just had an exam and a dental. His adoption donation is $100He is located in Vancouver, WAApril 22, 2024, 6:03 pm

Hi my name is Cookee, and I'm the sweetest treat of a pup that you'll ever meet. People say I remind them of cookies and cream when I give them sweet kisses on the nose or bump up and snuggle with them when they're feeling down. I am a Dachshund-Basset mix and medium sized about 30# full grown. Sitting on people's couches or laps is my favorite pastime as I get to snuggle close to the people I love, which is practically everyone! I LOVE OTHER DOGS TOO!! I definitely want a home with other dogs :) As I am a bit on the older side and lived on the streets until I was saved with my babies in my tummy. I have been living at my foster home and am ready for my forever HOME!! I will need a patient and loving family to give me a good life of exercise- LOL, playtime, treats, love, affection, and belonging. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Story
It wasn’t the plan but it's absolute perfection that Abbie rhymes with happy. This girl is still on the young side, not quiet a puppy, far from being and adult but she sure knows a thing or two. Her current specialty is knowing how to perfectly sit at your feet, make you smile and then fill you up with love. Her happy-go-lucky way is so contagious! With rescue we are often left guessing a dogs age and breed, and that is true with Abbie. We believe she is about 8 months old and is some sort of hound/bully mix. She currently weighs 50lbs and still has some growing to do so you can expect her to grow into a medium/large dog. Every ounce of her is ready for the good life, one with you at the end of her leash, going on hikes, greeting all the people with her. happy face and then heading home for an all our love and cuddle session. Before you fall in love, she does want you to know, her love of stuffies/plushies is real and will be coming with her into adulthood. As long as you are supportive and encouraging of this, she will be the best girl and when you are not available for snuggles she will simply snuggle a love until you are free. We would love to see Abbie in a home with a yard given her youthful energy and love of play. She gets along well with other dogs and absolutely gravitates to the playful ones but truthfully, her love tank could easily be filled by the love of her people. She is a social girl so when you have parties, be ready for all your guests to be enamored with Abbie as she works the room and looks adoringly at each of them. If you have a cat, Abbie promises to be respectful and take it slow. When she met our house cat Tom she was respectfully fearful of him and when she did work up the courage, she retreated quickly when he gave her a swat. We feel confident that she could live harmoniously with a feline friend. Abbie is young and will need continued work on her leash skills and crate training but her attentiveness and desire to please will make training and obedience a breeze. Consistency, a handful of treats and your adoring praise will have this girl ready for anything. Adopt Abbie and get started on those party tricks and making all the best memories together! Please email : Kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Adoption Application- https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/65e8b2fa31be71404808bca5 Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $725 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.
