🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮 HELLO! MY NAME IS LOGAN!!! I am one smart little cookie! I am some kind of a low riding mixed breed of either dachshound or possibly corgi mixed with some terrier perhaps some Cairn terrier? I am a young adult, no older than 2-3, weigh approximately 20 lbs and am neutered and UTD on all vaccinations. I have a beautiful sable colored coat, with a medium length coat, adorable ears, one that cocks halfway down and I LOVE TO LEARN! I walk well on leash, loooove people and seem to be fine with other dog friends I've met! I was rescued out of South Texas and I am ready for my forever home.My ideal home will be with someone who loves to train and loves to create a connection with their pet through positive training aka fear-free training. I am extremely food motivated and would be an excellent candidate for competitive training as I am so willing to learn and want to please! But I can be just as happy being just a pet for someone! His adopter should definitely be willing to enroll him in obedience classes as this will help him use his little smart brain! Logan is being fostered in South East Portland Oregon and if you are interested in pursuing adoption please apply at streetsavvydogrescue.org "Adoption Application " Street Savvy Dog Rescue 🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴🦮🌴

Story
Hello! My name is Charlie, I'm 8 years young, and 17 pounds, I'm bonded with my best friend Copper and we are looking for a home where we can love on our new family and have some fun!  I've got a big personality and I love to talk with you!  I'm often silly and I will make you laugh. I love to lay outside in the sun and lounge when the weather cooperates. I have Doxie in me so of course I'm  a great mouser!!    When its indoor lounge time I keep laps warm as I love to sit on your lap, but don't call me a couch potato as I also like to play fetch and I'm an excellent walker while Cooper could use a little guidance in that area (no offense Copper!).  When its time for bed Copper and I  like to share your bed with you, but we can also sleep in our beds on the floor too I suppose.  We used to live with a cat but that was a long time ago and with new cats I'd like to chase them if I could. I think Copper and I could learn to live with a cat but like I said, its been awhile! Copper & I are fully potty trained, crate trained and we don't have any separation anxiety.  We are good in the car and we like adventures in the great outdoors. Though I would say, Copper likes the outdoors a bit better than I do. Copper loves to be chased,  I'm not too interested in being chased, but Copper loves it!  Basically  we are a great bonded pair as we cover all the things you want in a dog - but in two dogs! Not sure how we would do around very small kiddos - but older kids who like to play would be our jam!  We would thrive with active seniors too! We come to you with all our leashes, harnesses, toys, beds, crates & outdoor gear like lifejackets too! Every Underdog has been spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and is up to date on vaccinations. All dogs have had a recent visit to the vet as well.  Our Adoption fee  is two for one at  $2 80  for both of us for the regular folks and for our Senior for Senior Program double your love for 140! All of our dogs are in foster homes. We have an adoption application, we check references and visit your home as part of our adoption process.   To fill out our Adoption Application please visit our website: www.underdogsrock.org/adoption-application/ To Learn more about Underdogs Rock! Rescue a  Portland, Oregon based 501c3 organization  please visit our website at www.underdogsrock.org   Thank you for choosing to adopt and not shop! June 7, 2023, 12:02 pm

Story
Rosey is around 2 1/2 years old she has had 2 litters and the last ones are 8 months old now and in their forever homes. She was a stray who was never claimed and ended up having the 2nd litter at her foster's home in CA. Rosey is quiet, potty trained (I have a doggy door) and she is a hugger. She enjoys being talked to and loved on after she gets to know you which takes a min. She loves her person completely. wants to go everywhere with you, Doesn't like being alone. She loves to play fetch (2 times a day for 15 min will do) and play with toys. She sleeps in her crate at night but if you let her she would sleep in your bed with you and cuddling the whole night. She will lay in her crate during the day but get upset if you close the door during the day longer than 2 hours. She loves people and other dogs, however...she can be selective on men. She is a unique mix. She is short-legged, long -bodied and a little stocky at around 30 pounds. She can curl her ears backwards like in her pictures. It makes them look cropped, but they're just curled back! She walks great on a leash and is very happy with daily walks. She does have a prey instinct when it comes to cats. NO APARTMENTS, She must have a fenced yard to run and chase balls. If you would like to meet Rosey, please fill out the application on our website - OFOSA.ORG and her foster parent will be in touch. We did a DNA test and the results are in: 26-39% Australian Shepard, 10-25% of each of the following: Dachshund, Border Collie, Boston Terrier & American Staffordshire Terrier. All information will be included for her new parents.

Calling all cuddlers and seeking all the snuggles! I’m Livi the love bug and I'm looking to finds my place in a home full of hugs and kisses. I’m a super happy puppy with a great attitude and a passion for napping in people's laps. My foster fur sisters are teaching me the ropes on how to be a good dog. Lots of yard play and basic training pup stuff. My foster mom, who says I have the biggest kindest eyes, is helping me learn my new tricks. She thinks I would be awesome at agility training because I love to jump and dance. My potty training is going pretty awesome, I go outdoors or on pads as long as I have a reminder. I love my humans and follow them around like a puppy dog… because I am one! My human foster sister and all her friends come play with me often, and we have so much fun. I do get lonely so if my new family is gone a lot I would love a buddy to keep me company. Looking forward to meeting my match! 🖤Livi

Foster mom is teaching me so many cool things all the time. I am crate trained and I LOOOVE belly rubs! I would do great with an active family that likes to go on hikes, adventures and give me lots of chewy toys and stimulate my growing mind! If you like to have a good time like me, have your people get with my people and let's get this pawty started!!! Hi my name is Cookee, and I'm the sweetest treat of a pup that you'll ever meet. People say I remind them of cookies and cream when I give them sweet kisses on the nose or bump up and snuggle with them when they're feeling down. I am a Dachshund-Basset mix, 8-years old, and medium sized about 30# full grown. Sitting on people's couches or laps is my favorite pastime as I get to snuggle close to the people I love, which is practically everyone! As I am a bit on the older side and lived on the streets until I was saved with my babies in my tummy. I have been living at the rescue and am ready for my forever HOME!! I will need a patient and loving family to give me a good life of exercise- LOL, playtime, treats, love, affection, and belonging. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
When you hear the name, Chloe, what do you think of?? A cute girl with piggie tails and happy smiles? Or do you think about a mature woman with a penchant for tea and crumpets? I honestly think about the old chick, but I don't like tea and what are crumpets anyway?? SO, you guessed it- my name is Chloe! I am more of a middle aged gal (5 yrs old or so)with lots of love to give, and although I can be nervous with the wild kind of kids running around, I am PERFECTLY comfortable with a fire, popcorn and a good movie :D I am looking for a home that is relatively quiet and maybe a little boring, I am great with other dogs and would prefer to have a friend to hang out with- big or small... but no kids, sorry but I am not a kid loving girl, they just make me nervous and I react. Not sure if I was hurt or harassed by kids in my past life, I just know that in this life I am happy without them. And when it comes to cats... well cats are cats and there are some that I don't mind and there are some that I just plain don't like. I have been with cats in my foster home. A few are kind to me and some, well we would just rather not be in each others areas if you know what I mean. So when it comes to cats we are going to say that I am ok with cats if the cats are okay with me. Would I prefer a home without cats, yes. BUT every cat is different and who knows maybe one day we could grow to like each other given time, space and time. I didn't have the best life before I came to the rescue, now the rescue wants to find me THE BEST LIFE EVER! I have so many fun cool little dogs with me in my new foster home. We run and play and show our foster moms whats up! I am a cute girl, if you like dachshunds you will understand my personality perfectly- I love my people and am low to the ground. So adopt me, we can be the best of friends and that is the BEST home ever!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of State adoption fee is $450 transported to you.

Meet Lloyd! Lloyd is a handsome, smart, and friendly Chiweenie! With his long noodle body and fun Chihuahua energy Lloyd is the life of the party! Lloyd is good with dogs, would pair better with older children, and hasn't experienced any cats yet. He is crate trained and working on potty training, but doing well! Lloyd was found on the street full of fleas with his partner in crime Harry, was pretty much just running the streets, owners readily gave him up when asked who he belonged to. Lloyd is a super energetic dog who's ready to run right into your life and be your new best friend! Some basic information about Lloyd; he is 1-year(s) old, male, Dachshund/Chihuahua mix, and is medium-sized (20-59lbs). Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Hi there! Im the sweet, smart, and sometimes sassy Jack! I am waiting to find a patient, loving family to call my very own. Phew! Ive been waiting for my chance at adoption since the beginning of 2021, when Animal Aid first brought me into their foster program from Multnomah County Animal Services. Shortly after I was brought into foster care, I started displaying some interesting behavioral challenges. We soon discovered that I had low-grade mast cell cancer. Once we had some growths removed and began treating my other symptoms, I started to become a much happier pup! With the help of my very kind and patient fosters, I have been able to learn so much to set me up for success in a furever home. While I can have some challenging moments, I am a very smart pup that will do just about anything for a yummy treat. I am hoping to find a family that is just as patient with me as my fosters have been, so that I can continue growing my trust in humans and live a comfortable, confident, and happy life! Due to my occasional behavioral challenges, I am not the best fit for a lot of younger children; however, I have learned to adore snuggling up with my fosters young niece who is very sweet, a great listener, and especially respectful to me. Likes: I absolutely love treats! Even if I get in one of my grumpy moods, I am pretty easy to win over with a yummy snack. I am an incredibly food-motivated pup, which helps tremendously when it comes to learning new tricks or behaviors. I could learn just about anything! I also love to play fetch and tug with my favorite toys, cuddling up with my favorite people, and running around with doggy friends. I really love to be warm: Since its started to get cold, my favorite thing is sleeping in front of a radiant heat lamp. I love it so much my fosters sometimes have trouble keeping me away from the cozy heat. I cant wait until its summertime again so I can enjoy some more sunbathing. I also LOVE the beach! I discovered sand just this year, and I can run very fast on it! I prefer calmer dogs that are respectful of my space and dont steal my favorite toys. Dislikes: I have handling sensitivities! I can get pretty spicy if I am being touched in certain areas of my body, but it can also really just depend on the day or situation. I am not a fan of being left alone and would prefer to be with you at all times. I really dont like being cold or wet. Id rather not go out in the rain. Although my fosters have introduced me to coats, I dont seem to enjoy them. I also have gotten into some feisty situations getting tangled in a few harnesses, so my fosters have done a great job working with me on a harness that requires minimal handling. Its possible this coat and harness sensitivity may be a result of some discomfort they bring because of my medical condition, which you can read more about below. My least favorite thing in the whole world is being touched or bothered when I am curled up under the covers! Its best to call me to come out of my cozy blanket burrow, rather than attempt pulling me out yourself. Medical: I have a history of mast cell cancer growths, which can reoccur. According to our vets, there is a low risk of these growths complicating my quality of life, as they can be removed if they come back. The growths can cause me to be quite itchy at times, so I take some medicine to help with that (the itchies might also be why I dont like harnesses or coats very much). We were told that there is a low risk of these growths spreading to my liver or spleen. I am currently taking a few different medications to help manage my behavioral and medical needs and I am pretty good at taking my pills, especially if accompanied with a delicious treat!Helping Hands Grants: Due to Jacks medical and behavioral needs, Animal Aid is offering a $500 annual grant to assist in the costs of his ongoing medical care. Additionally, we are offering a one-time $500 grant to work with the Certified Veterinary Behaviorist and Certified Trainers at Synergy Behavior Solutions to set him and his furever family up for lasting success. Approx. Date of Birth: 7/1/2015 Weight: 18 lbs

Meet Ellie Mae! *NOW FOSTERED IN WASHINGTON* This beautiful, kind hearted girl has been waiting for her Forever Home for approximately half a year! She is a 7 month old 22 pound chihuahua and black mouth cur mix! She is an adorable, happy girl that will entertain and keep the family active with her spunky personality! Ellie means "sun ray". She will be your sunshine during those rainy & snowy days in the PNW! Ellie's days are full when she gets to go out on adventures! She is kind and gentle children would be great for her. She has the typical puppy energy and will need a home that can be patient and consistent, while continuing to work on her potty training and basic obedience to help her become the best adult dog she can be. She's been learning leash skills and is doing so well! She loves to explore and run around the yard! Ellie is still very young and has an adventurous heart that would be happiest with an active family. I can picture her sprinting happily along trails or beaches with her cute smile. Those familiar with the black mouth cur breed know they're possibly the greatest dogs in the world! Although her breeds are anyone's best guess there's no denying she's 100% unique and beautiful. This pup will need daily stimulation. It would be best for her to be in a home with a yard where she can run and play. It would also be ideal for her to be with a family who understands the importance of setting healthy boundaries, proper training and appropriate level of activity. Ellie is fully vetted, up to date on shots, spayed & elgible for adoption immediately! She is such a lovable pup... if she sounds like a good fit for you please apply today!
