Tuck has experience living with other dogs, but he’d be perfectly content as the only dog in a home, especially with a singleton or older adult looking for a loyal companion. Tuck is also great with cats! He can live very peacefully with a feline friend, as he currently does in his foster home. He’s wonderful on leash and will happily accompany you on walks, or enjoy the freedom of a secure yard where he can sniff and explore. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.    The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.   It doesn’t stop there! Fill out an application 2. Once the application is approved, you will be called or emailed about setting up a day and time to meet me. 3. After a "Meet and Greet" then a decision for both the rescue and you will determine if this is a good match. Snowdrop.... not even snow FLAKE?? I mean snow does NOT drop out of the sky.. it FLOATS!! And I am more delicate than a snow DROP... I am a FLAKER!
