Story
Meet Lilly! Nickname: Princess Lilly Breed: Dachshund Rescue: Albert’s Dog Lounge Age: Senior Weight: 15 pounds Background: Lilly was surrendered with another dog and some kitty friends after their elderly owner went into assisted living. Foster home: Fox Point, WI Activity level: Low Friendly with: Dogs, cats, and respectful children. She is chill like that! Meals: Lilly eats 2x/day; a dollop of wet food with any meds tucked in, topped with about 1/3c of sensitive stomach kibble for small breeds Sleep style: Until her IVDD diagnosis, Lilly loved sleeping in the big bed with humans and other dogs, and easily used a long ramp to go up/down as she wished. She’s not big on being under the covers; she overheats. She will also sleep in a crate, as she’s been doing since the IVDD diagnosis and needing to keep her more still. Snore-o-meter: 1/10. Maybe a little purr now and then. Bark-o-meter: 1/10. A princess doesn't bark. It's unseemly. Shedding meter: 2/10. Just a few sparkles on your floor. Walkout song: "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" by Pat Benatar. Despite everything life has thrown at her, she keeps getting up and living her life. Favorite pattern: Hot pink! Best accessory: A tee shirt knotted 80s style. Reeboks with scrunchy socks. If she could, she would rock a side pony tail. Dream job: Peanut Butter sommelier. That's a thing, right? Best feature: her soulful eyes. They look right into your heart and steal it. Favorite season: Summer. Sunbathing would definitely be her jam. Give her some Sun-In and a bottle of baby oil (the 80s are BACK baby!) Personality: Snuggle bug, quiet, chill, sweet, easygoing Medical: Lilly’s current seizure meds are approximately $90/month. She takes 250mg Keppra 3x/day and recently added 75mg Zonisamide 2x/day. Lilly is temporarily taking Gabapentin and Carprofen to treat IVDD pain. She is very easy to dose; she will swallow pills easily in her food; she takes her Keppra easily with a dab of peanut butter. Lilly has a seizure disorder and was recently diagnosed with IVDD. She has lost almost 3 lbs since coming into rescue, and will need to keep extra weight off to help her back. She very recently had a dental, and 15 teeth were removed. She needs to strengthen her back legs/back end, so she walks with a cute twisty little swagger! Lilly will benefit from continued acupuncture and cold laser therapy for her back. Microchipped Spayed Housebroken, Lilly was left in a home with only one daily visit for food, so she is working on refining her potty habits. She will stand at the door and bark politely to go out, however she also likes to play a game of only actually going outside the third or so time you open the door! She will consistently use potty pads, especially during bad weather. Crates are perfectly fine, and a great place for a private snooze! Story
So my name is Betty! I am a beautiful long hair 6 year old Dachshund. My coat is rich redish brown with tan markings. I have big soulful eyes and short little legs. My favorite thing is to snuggle on a lap. I recently arrived in foster care with Tiny Paws Small Dog Rescue. I have already showed what a sweetheart I am. Betty is not fully housetrained, but she is catching on quick. She is also learning what that leash thing is and how it works. Betty gets along with the other dogs in the foster home and even the cats. My foster mom, Maggie thinks a home with people teenage and up would be best. If you are interesting in adopting Betty please put an application in at tinypawssmalldogrescue.org.

Story
Lupin – The Little Wildflower Learning to Connect 🌿🐾 Lupin is a young Wildflower pup with a quiet, heartfelt desire to connect with people. He may take a moment to warm up in new situations, but there’s something special about him—you can see that he’s interested, just figuring out how to step forward with confidence. Once he starts to feel safe, Lupin shows more of himself: warm glances, soft engagement, and those small puppy moments that hint at the bond he’s building with his person. He’s still learning that the world is a place where good things happen, and every positive experience helps him grow a little brighter. Like all young puppies, Lupin is learning the basics—potty training, leash skills, handling, and everyday confidence-building. He’ll thrive in a home that offers patience, consistency, and gentle encouragement as he continues to develop. Born around December 25, 2025, Lupin is a small, mixed-breed puppy who is just beginning his journey and will continue to blossom with time and support. Lupin has been neutered and is up to date on age-appropriate veterinary care. His adoption fee is $500. If you’re looking for a puppy who will truly come into his own with patience and connection, Lupin is ready to grow alongside you. 🌿💛 Apply to adopt: https://www.adoptablefriends.org/adopt

Trillium – The Playful Wildflower 🌷🐾 Trillium is a soft, endearing Wildflower with a quiet spark of playfulness and a growing curiosity about the world around him. He often takes a moment to take things in, then begins to step forward with more interest as his comfort grows—showing that sweet mix of caution and puppy enthusiasm. There are already little glimpses of his playful side showing through: curious investigations, gentle engagement, and those moments where he decides it’s time to join in rather than hang back. He’s a puppy who is still unfolding, and each day brings a little more personality to the surface. Born around December 25, 2025, Trillium is a small, mixed-breed puppy who is just beginning his journey and ready to learn what it means to be part of a home. Like all young puppies, he’ll thrive with routine, positive reinforcement, and everyday life experiences—everything from potty training to leash walking to learning new environments. This is the fun part of puppyhood: watching him gain confidence, build skills, and grow into his own personality with your guidance and encouragement. Trillium has been neutered and is up to date on age-appropriate veterinary care. His adoption fee is $500. If you’re looking for a puppy with a soft heart, a playful spark, and lots of room to grow into his personality, Trillium is ready to bloom beside you. 🌷💛 Apply to adopt: https://www.adoptablefriends.org/adopt

Aster is still learning all the puppy basics—potty training, leash skills, handling, and how to navigate new experiences. He’ll do best in a home that can offer patience, consistency, and plenty of positive exposure as he continues to grow.
