Canela is a gorgeous 60 lb doberman mix. Canela became a Rocket Dog under very unfortunate circumstances - running a stray, a good samaritan witnessed her being hit by a truck. Things are looking up now, and Canela has fully recovered from her injuries and is ready for a home. Canela is a wonderfully sweet dog who loves people. She does well with other dogs. She seems to be house trained and does well in a crate, too!

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog H:2Nibs is a 64-pound doberman/pittie mix, just under 2 years old, with a great balance of independence, manners, and playful energy. He’s affectionate and charming, gives gentle kisses, makes eye contact that feels like a smile, and responds eagerly to cues like “sit” and “down” with treats and praise. On a recent field trip, Nibs walked three miles in the rain with ease. He calmly passed people, dogs, and even small animals, staying focused and checking in often. He enjoys exploring on leash, sniffing independently, and happily returning for rewards. In the car, he’s relaxed but may get a bit impatient waiting alone. Nibs enjoys social time with other dogs and attends doggie playgroup, where he loves chase games and playful interactions. He would do well with appropriately matched canine companions or as a solo dog with dog friends. Polite, playful, and easygoing, Nibs thrives with gentle guidance, positive reinforcement, and affection. Coffee is a 4-7 year old Doberman (according to her file) who’s only looking to be loved. I found her laying down outside my house malnourished and recently given birth. I took her to my local animal services center where she stayed for about a month and her owners never showed up. She can cuddle all day and is pretty much all she prefers to do, unless she sees you’re about to throw a ball. Shes great with other dogs and kids but is scared of loud noises. Shes crate trained and does well on walks that are not in neighborhoods with lots of dogs. She can sometimes be reactive on walks if there’s a lot of dogs barking at her but is amazing on hikes and walks where they’re not barking at her. She’s a simple girl who’s just looking for her forever family

Arlo is a 6/7 year old Doberman mix, around 70 pounds. He is a very loving and incredibly loyal dog with tons of energy. He enjoys all activities outdoors and is a great companion for walks and hikes. Arlo has incredible recall. He would be best in an environment where he could run around and enjoy property (living in a city has been a bit challenging with space). Arlo is extremely protective of his loved ones and is weary of individuals who he believes pose a threat. Outside of this, he's the absolute best companion. My husband and I are expecting our first child in a few months and thus, are not able to take care of him anymore. We want to make sure Arlo is in an environment where he will thrive - somewhere with a loving family who is looking for a wonderfully loyal, loving and energetic dog. He is such a happy boy and deserves all the love in the world. We're happy to do meet and greets and answer any questions you may have. We love Arlo so much and want the best for him.
