She loves her sister Sunny, and has also enjoyed the company of other playful dogs like Maverick here. She is athletic, and would love a yard to run free in and or lots off walks. She may make a fun running companion in the future. She crates well, and is good for being packed around. She is learning some basic commands, with us. She is going to make someone a great friend. Most dogs require a fenced yard. We seek fully fenced yards with a physical, visible fence. Typically, the fence must be connected to the house/ a door in the home, and the dog safe fenced area must exclude driveway and car access. Shock/electronic fences will not be approved for most dogs. A sturdy, high quality crate is also required (due to safety concerns, no wire or soft crates will be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). We will be considering homes in W. Wa and possibly Oregon, no other out of state adoptions at this time. Adoption donation is $500 THIS DOG IS IN FOSTER CARE IN POULSBO, WA. MEET AND GREETS WILL TAKE PLACE THERE AS WELL. REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION: - Securely and visibly fenced yard - Sturdy/safe crate, due to the safety hazard wire crates will be not be accepted. Hey, have u HEARD the news??? I have! Like the news from New York?? U haven't? I can hear it from here!! My ears are such a prominent feature on my head, that I am like a satellite feed:) u know u thought that too!! I am proud of my wing nuts, they make me unique and super cute. Plus I always look like I am paying attention, so u can blather on for hours and I will get high marks for listening, even if I zoned off after the first sentence!! Maybe I was named after MARVEL's Nick Fury. Or maybe I was named after the Brad Pitt war movie But one this is for sure - I am NOT fur-ious!!! I am a really SWEET boy who loves children and adults, in fact I was the KID'S best friend when I was in my foster home. I was part of their birthday celebrations and was just in HEAVEN with all the kids :) I am looking for a home with school aged and older kids because I am a little protective of my toys and snacks- so older kids who understand my boundaries are the best ;) Maybe I am like Nick Fury because I can be a touch overwhelming to older and more timid dogs. I like dogs who are on the same level with me - you get it? ;) While I am not really big, less than 50 lbs, I am essentially 100 pounds of busy and need to be active. No apartment living for me, please! I like space and action and activity and being mentally stimulated - maybe I am a lot like Nick Fury ... hmmm, but nothing that a bunch of adventures wouldn't cure!!! Even though it's the end of Summer, flowers still bloom like in Spring! Meet our latest budding rose, Suzie! Suzie is a 2-year old, female, medium-sized (20-59#) Doberman/Shepherd mix. She is kind of like SUPERMOM!! Suzie was saved from under a house where she had 14 PUPPIES!! And SHE LOVED EACH AND EVERY ONE!! She was an AMAZING MOMMA!! She took amazing care of her pups and they have all gone on to their FUREVER homes! You can see WHY she deserves a nice soft place to land! She did her work, now it's HER turn to be spoiled for a change! :) Suzie is the sweetest little gumdrop around the block! Her ears are always perked up listening for fun to be had and she always has a smile on her face! Suzie is good with cats, dogs, and children but should be given patient and careful introductions to any and all new family members. Suzie is also crate trained. Suzie has been treated for heartworms and IS available for adoption!
