Hi, my name is Fury! But I'm more like a happy, gentle breeze that wants to have fun! You might recognize my name from the famous character Director Nick Fury of the Marvel movies, I'm kinda like him: I love being the center of attention and don't like it when people take my stuff! I am a big dog! With my mixed Doberman Pinscher/Black Labrador genes I am a whopping 52#/lbs and have a ton of energy and muscle that needs to be worked! Because of this it would be best if I was paired with an active family who knows how to keep a dog mentally stimulated and respects my boundaries well. No apartment living for me please! No cats or small children either! My caretakers have learned some important things about me: I am a chow-hound and will try to eat anything I can get my hands on! So please leave food out of reach from me or I'll swoop it all up. Secondly, I would prefer if people didn't grab things that I have in my mouth, it's mine not yours hehe! Overall, I am a big-hearted dog who wants to go play, be adventurous, have fun with other people and dogs! I am however not such a big fan of car rides, they make my tummy feel sick eww! Animal Profile: Apollo was adopted as a puppy in 2018. He was well loved and cared for by a wonderful member of the dog community here in WA. Unfortunately, due to a tragic accident, his owner passed away and Apollo returned to the rescue. We are committed to finding him a new home that will uphold the standard of love and care Apollo received from his previous owner. Apollo is crate trained, house trained, and friendly with other dogs. In true Doberman form, he can be watchful of strangers, but does make friends easily. Apollo has great manners inside and outside the home, and will be a wonderful companion to one lucky family. Foster Update: Apollo is a loyal and intelligent dog looking for a calm, committed home where he can truly bond with his person. He thrives as an only pet and would do best with someone who understands the value of patience and trust. Once you've earned his loyalty, Apollo is deeply devoted and eager to please.
