Story
Sweet as can be Ranger is approx 9 mo old and weighs 54lbs He is a very friendly, silly boy that loves everyone he meets so a socially active home would be ideal. He also loves to play with other dogs so a doggie playmate or two in the home would also be great, although it’s not required. Ranger does still need some basic training, but he’s very treat motivated and so eager to please, he’ll be a model k9 citizen in no time! He would love to have a stay at home or work from home person that also has plenty of time and affection to give this darling boy. He loves to run and he’s very active so he’ll be a great jogging and hiking partner. He needs just a little more help with his leash training and then he’ll be a great partner for long walks, too. He is crate trained and needs only a little more help to be fully house trained. He’s very quiet except when he needs to go outside. He will then bark to let you know he needs a potty break. He’s wonderful with kids but he is a bit exuberant when he’s excited so kids must be over 12yrs old. He must have a securely fenced yard and an experienced owner. If you would like to meet this handsome young boy please email info@k9rr.org and include your phone number.  Adoption fee is $450,September 26, 2023, 9:14 pm

Story
Hi, my name is Vieja, I know my name means old, but really, I am a perfect age for a new family, I am mostly over my puppy stage and not into my tired and lazy stage. I am a happy and well-adjusted dog who loves to play with other dogs and loves kids. I am a hunter by nature so cats wouldn’t be a good thing for me.Car rides are one of my favorite things, I like to stick my head out the window so I can catch all the scents out there. I especially like car rides when they end up at the beach. I am not much of a swimmer but I love to wade and play in the water. I am pretty good with walking on a leash but sometimes I feel a bit overwhelmed so that is a work in progress. I am potty trained and learning to be crate trained too. If you are looking for a calm social dog to join your family then look no further, just fill in an application and we can meet on Zoom call.Lots of love to give,Vieja To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. There you will see any videos, more photos and details.

Story
Sweet 9 months old pup RUSTY is an adorable pibble who is good with dogs, and people. He is playful as any young pup. He loves to go on walks and play with his doggie foster siblings. Rusty was rescued from a pound where he was scheduled for euthanasia, despite having an owner, who refused to come pick him up. Thanks to a foster, Rusty's life was saved. He is housebroken, current on his shots, neutered and microchipped. He is about 45 lb, heartworm negative and is kept on heartworm and flea preventative. Rusty is being fostered in Texas, but can travel to any state, and even Canada for the right home. To meet this gorgeous pup via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com Yards MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences.

Story
Animal Profile: Copper is an estimated 1-2-year-old, 80 lb neutered male red Doberman with natural ears and a docked tail that joined us from Georgia via Project Freedom Ride. He was originally picked up as a stray and at the shelter was evaluated to be very friendly with dogs and people. We will post more as we get to know him. Foster Update:  Copper is young and full of energy, but can be worn out easily with exercise and definitely has an off switch. He is cautious around new people, but once he warms up to them (or they give him a treat) he is very affectionate. He is able to make friends with other dogs after slow and proper introductions. With a confident handler, Copper is mostly non reactive to others on leash. He is good on leash, but could use some training; he leads but does not pull. He loves to chase after balls, but is still working on returning and dropping them. Adopter Profile: large breed experience, breed experience a plus! Single family dwelling with a securely fenced yard. No cats or small animals. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/Bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.  Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History:  This dog was picked by animal control in GA and pulled by PFR before being transported via Project Freedom Ride to Seattle, arriving to foster care on 10/22/22. This dog will be available for adoption in Seattle once evaluated.September 28, 2023, 1:50 am
