Hi, my name is Fury! But I'm more like a happy, gentle breeze that wants to have fun! You might recognize my name from the famous character Director Nick Fury of the Marvel movies, I'm kinda like him: I love being the center of attention and don't like it when people take my stuff! I am a big dog! With my mixed Doberman Pinscher/Black Labrador genes I am a whopping 52#/lbs and have a ton of energy and muscle that needs to be worked! Because of this it would be best if I was paired with an active family who knows how to keep a dog mentally stimulated and respects my boundaries well. No apartment living for me please! No cats or small children either! My caretakers have learned some important things about me: I am a chow-hound and will try to eat anything I can get my hands on! So please leave food out of reach from me or I'll swoop it all up. Secondly, I would prefer if people didn't grab things that I have in my mouth, it's mine not yours hehe! Overall, I am a big-hearted dog who wants to go play, be adventurous, have fun with other people and dogs! I am however not such a big fan of car rides, they make my tummy feel sick eww! I love all people and dogs, am a healthy, happy boy and just want to find my home. Let's work together and find it!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Meet Yeager — a Doberman with zero buffering and unlimited energy Tall, athletic, funny, and painfully handsome. The perfect guy… if this were a Tinder profile. But it’s not — and he’s a lot more than that. Yeager is a complex guy, but also obliviously happy. You know that kind of happiness only reserved for those with absolutely nothing going on upstairs? Yeah… that! I mean… look at that gaze. There is NOTHING there. Processing? Minimal. Vibes? Chaotic. To be clear: Yeager is A LOT. Not “a little training needed.” Not “puppy energy.” We’re talking full-time project dog. ✔️ Dog social… selectively (great with females & smaller/meduim males) ✔️ Has done well with cats and older kids ✔️ Extremely happy, confident, and always ready to GO ⚠️ Reality check: • Potty trained… but won’t tell you and will absolutely have accidents • Will mark indoors • Does not understand (or respect) human correction • Learns patterns quickly… then uses that knowledge against you • Will outmaneuver your routine (especially when food is involved) • Rarely settles — especially around other animals (play is his full-time job) • Takes correction from other dogs… then forgets it happened 3 minutes later • Destroys beds, feeders, and anything not built for chaos • Eats fast, then immediately wants to sprint/jump (deep-chested breed awareness REQUIRED) Training status: He’s not untrainable, but he is not intuitive. He will require someone experienced, structured, and committed to ongoing training. This is not a “figure it out as you go” dog. Ideal home (non-negotiable): Experienced, active, consistent human(s) who will not give up when he inevitably tests every boundary you set. Doberman or working-breed experience strongly preferred. If you want a chill, easy dog; keep scrolling. If you want a high-drive, chaotic, hilarious, frustrating, incredibly rewarding project… Yeager is your guy. Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED (currently in foster care) Meet Elk! Elk is a 1.5-year-old, 59 lb Doberman mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter and is currently thriving in foster care. This handsome boy has quickly won over everyone he’s met with his sweet nature, gentle personality, and love for people! Elk is the total package—affectionate, well-mannered, intelligent, and eager to please. He absolutely loves people and is happiest when he’s spending time with his family, whether that’s joining you on a walk, relaxing in the sunshine, or snuggling up for some well-earned cuddles. His foster family describes him as having a calm, docile nature and says he is truly one of the sweetest dogs around. He’s also a smart boy! Elk already knows several commands, including sit, down, stay, wait, and twirl. He’s very food-motivated and enjoys learning, making him a great candidate for continued training and enrichment activities. Elk is fully house-trained and has excellent manners in the home, doesn’t jump on people, and is generally a relaxed, easygoing companion. He enjoys spending time outdoors, loves going for walks, and is happiest when he can soak up the sunshine. He’s great on leash and only tends to pull when he spots a squirrel or bunny. Because he has a strong prey drive and has shown interest in chasing small animals, Elk is looking for a home without cats or other small pets. Elk has done well with other dogs and enjoys meeting canine friends. He would love another friendly dog in the home to socialize and spend time with, especially one around his size. However, he could also thrive as an only dog if his family continues to provide opportunities for socialization. Like many young dogs, Elk is still building confidence. He can occasionally be startled by things like bicycles, motorcycles, vacuums, balloons, or unfamiliar objects. With patient guidance and continued exposure, he continues to gain confidence and navigate the world more comfortably every day. Elk would love a standalone home with a securely fenced yard where he can safely explore, play, and relax. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who is affectionate, intelligent, adventurous, and endlessly lovable, Elk may be the perfect addition to your family! Elk is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
If you love Scooby Doo, Boyd could be your next best friend. He is big, but not brave. He is loyal and loving, playful and silly. And he loves snacks! All Boyd wants from life is to be a companion. He loves people and enjoys making new friends. He will welcome guests into his home and will also be happy to greet people out in public. He is a bit nervous meeting small children but does well meeting older children. He enjoys going for walks and is pretty easy to handle on leash. Boyd is bright and enjoys training. It combines his love of attention with his love of food. We think Boyd might be a good service dog candidate. He needs a lot of interaction and mental stimulation. Boyd is interested in playing with other dogs. He is a bit nervous with meeting dogs, but he relaxes once he decides they aren't going to hurt him. He seems to have no clue about his size. Boyd finds cats interesting, but is also a bit afraid of them. Boyd's shelter paperwork says he is 2. His behavior suggests he is closer to 1. He weighs 90 pounds and is neutered and current on vaccinations. He is also microchipped. He is crate trained, house trained and knows how to use a dog door. He has been DNA tested. Boyd is currently with his foster family in Lake Stevens. He would love to meet you. Be sure to bring Scooby snacks!

Story
Meet Truffles -“The Ears Have It!” Few critters in the animal kingdom have ears that can move separately, up/down, folded, or crisscrossed. The magnificent Truffles is one of the few! This gorgeous, friendly, athletic gal is endowed with huge stick up bat signal ears. When not receiving transmissions, one or both of her giant receivers crisscross atop her head. She loves long walks on her leash, zooming, playing with balls & stuffies, tug-of-war and of course, cuddling. Truffles was born with a genetic condition called mega esophagus that requires a bit of extra time & special steps at meals. She has a custom chair that allows her to eat in an upright position. Truffles eagerly gets into her chair as she is quite food motivated. She sits in her chair for 15 -20 minutes after eating. She cannot have treats. And that is it! You might notice her throat moving like a bullfrog when she is sleeping, due to the enlarged esophagus, but that is nothing to worry about. She is intelligent, active, affectionate, and eager to please. She is ideal for an active family or individual. More Attributes! Leash trained Loves kids, but likely too boisterous for little ones Needs extra care at meal time Local adoption fee is$200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I’m Minnie!  I’m a Min Pin/Chihuahua mix with a sweet heart that just needs a little time to shine. When I first meet new people, I can be shy and a bit nervous. I may run away and bark, but I promise I do want to be in your lap. I do really well with other dogs. Unsure about cats. I am not leash trained, but volunteers are working with me on that.  Once I trust you, my real personality comes out: happy hops, nonstop tail wags, and lots of excitement when I see my people. Please note, I do know how to climb fences.  Minnie has received extensive veterinary care while in our rescue. When she went in for her spay surgery, our veterinarian noticed an irregular heartbeat with bradycardia, although no obvious heart murmur was detected. To ensure we had a complete picture of her health, we proceeded with comprehensive bloodwork and a full echocardiogram. Her bloodwork results were completely normal, including a negative Chagas test. The echocardiogram showed a structurally and functionally normal heart. According to the cardiologist's report, the limited ECG available for review was consistent with a sinus arrhythmia. Overall, Minnie's cardiac evaluation was very reassuring and showed no significant abnormalities. I’m already spayed, 4DX negative, microchipped, current on vaccines, protected with ProHeart 12 and Bravecto, and ready to start my new life! My adoption fee is $400. Apply to adopt me at: www.adoggie4you.org I’m currently in Texas, but I can travel to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, and along the East Coast. If I need a ride, there’s an additional $225 transport fee. (I’m unable to travel to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations.)Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 24, 2026, 5:04 pm
