Story

Note: 80-90% TERRIER with unknown mixJax was found abandoned in an area known for dumping unwanted animals. We brought him to our home where he has mostly adapted well to our three small dogs and a cat (not perfectly…..as he wants to play). Jax is truly adorable and a sweetheart. His playful personality will keep you entertained. He will do best with a very active family or an exercise enthusiast who will exercise him DAILY, and who has a securely fenced yard. All shots are current, he’s heart worm negative and has been neutered. The vet estimated his age at seven (7) months in mid May. He attends doggie daycare several times per week for socializing and has done great with other dogs. He is good with children (five and above, due to his activity level). Jax is almost paper trained, walks well on a leash, working on crate training, takes treats gently, and will sit for a treat. A meet and greet with any current pets will be needed (if applicable). A vet reference is required.

Story

This loveable girl literally came up to our back yard porch and captured our hearts with her playful charm! She came from our neighbors who were taking care of her for a family friend and we were allowed to take her in with their permission. She is house trained and yard trained and has shown great potential in learning simple commands. She has a lot of energy and (per her breed) requires some exercise (walks) and a little bit of attention. A great companion for folks with a little energy and who want a faithful friend!

We got Clark in 2023 before we found out we were expecting our first child. She was born in May 2023 and fit right in with our older GSP. Now we are expecting our third child and Clark deserves more attention. She loves to play fetch, run, and wrestle and especially loves the dog park. She gets along great with other dogs, and our two toddlers. She has been hunting a couple times and shows great aptitude. She needs a home where she gets attention, pets, snuggles, and exercise.

Michelle had a very rough start prior to her arrival at the shelter. She was emaciated, had a bad skin infection, had lots of minor wounds and was heartworm positive. This sweet baby let us know from day one that she appreciated having a place to live and getting all the love that she deserved. Her skin infection has been treated, and this girl's coat is silky and soft. She's finished her heartworm treatments and has become quite the foodie! She gets a bit confused going for rides and likes to sit on the floor facing the seat. She loves all people, all dogs and is house-trained. This beautiful girl is patiently waiting for her forever home!Animal has been sponsored so, the adoption fee has been waived.
