Story
Meet Ms. Cali…the great big Great Dane mix girl with a heart to match her size. Sadly, Cali was found dumped at a local gas station in the heat of summer. She came home with us that same day and adjusted quickly and nicely to daily family life. She has always been gentle and friendly with my 7 yr old son and my female Sheepadoodle. I would advise against her going to a home with small children or small pets. Cali sometimes forgets she’s a big ol girl and when she’s excited or someone new is present, she likes to raise a (big) paw up to greet them. She is definitely not a barker, although she will howl and “talk” from time to time. Cali deserves a forever home that shows her what security, kindness and love truly mean.

Story
Bonnie is a very pretty German Shep - about 60 lbs, 2 years old.  Very pretty girl and much loved by her peeps who are trying to get housing for themselves and her. - and update more info about her....hopefully a little video as well. She arrived at B&B 1/14/26 - lost her home due to the fires a year ago.  So folks are struggling.... We are working with her - she would welcome a foster home and could attend training classes at B&B.*Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Please allow us up to a week to get back to you. Most appointments will be Friday-Sunday, 10 am - 2 pm, for an hour. *Note bring any other dog/s and the entire family to your meet and greet at B&B.* A complimentary training manual is included with each adoption, authored by terristeuben.com. Check out her website - she is fabulous! B&B is glad to be open during the pandemic. We know the value and comfort of a loving pet companion and are doing our best to help the dogs and folks who need them. We update our website daily and are always rescuing, vetting, rehabilitating, socializing. &#226&#128&#139 Are you my furrever family? For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section, which has thorough instructions.  All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and  fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.   Our prices are higher than the shelters' because we nurse the dogs through their illnesses and get them needed surgeries and dentals. We also spend time socializing. Furthermore, unlike shelters, rescues do not get financial aid from the government and must rely on donations, grants, and adoption fees. Our fees for adults start at $150 and usually go up to $750. Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. You can think of it as donating to a worthy cause and getting a dog in return!  Sponsor Me Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs. Your tax-deductible donation keeps our rescue kennel operating!  Hours Friday:  10 am to 3 pm Saturday:  10 am to 3 pm Sunday: 10 am to 3 pm Monday: CLOSED Tuesday: CLOSED Wednesday: CLOSED Thursday: CLOSED &#226&#128&#139 Weekday appointments may be available.  We are a small staff and do our best to accommodate your needs. **Note that during COVID, we are not holding open houses on any day. Please email us for an appointment and include your application (found on our website, beaglesandbuddies.com, under "Forms"). Most appointments will be Friday through Sunday, though other days may also be available. We usually schedule one appointment per hour. Allow 1-2 hours for your appointment. Please look at our website and make a list of one or more dogs that you would like to see. Story
Maple is a tri-black/tan/white dear beagle whose family loves her to the moon and back.  Problem is Maple does not like her living situation....an RV with five leash walks a day.  She wants a yard and to run free - not a dog park.   We're gonna let her settle in and make friends with other beagles and buddies.  High marks for her: great with children from 3 yrs-teens; housetrained.  Appts available daily between 10a-2p.  Email your application and suggest the dog/s you want to meet and the day/time thereof.  We'll have a great time - one-on-one meeting in large playground.  Bring your whole family any any other dog/s.   Just a week with us and she is loving on peeps in the house.  To show her true need for her own yard, she stayed outside, made friends with Francisco & brother - then came in the house where she was accepted by everyone and vice versa.  She is a young 6 yrs and just 22 lbs.s*Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Story
Solo is a WONDERFUL 9 year old, male that is very, very intelligent. His previous owners did spend the time and put forth the effort to house train and make sure he knows, understands and listens to daily commands. He also walks excellent on the leash, and is crate trained as well. Loves going on car rides, out on walks, especially if he's able to go exploring around new places. Solo keeps up with all the dogs here that are half his age, if not wears them out. Sure doesn't seem like he's 9, that's for sure.  Solo runs around here at B&B with free reign, not only because he's always wanting to explore, but also he's great with any other dogs, from really small chi's to great big mastiffs. Doesn't show any aggression and he's smart and quick enough to be the bigger dog and turn tail and continue about his business if another dog does want to be mean. If you think Solo would be the addition to your lovely family, then please give us a call or email us any time to schedule an appointment for a meet and greet at our sanctuary. Please remember to bring the entire family and any other dogs you may have already so everyone can get acquainted at the same time. We look forward to hearing from you soon, and have a wonderful new year. He and Gunny joined family with a female beagle gal.  Three is company!*Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available.
